Chapter 20: a new chapter begins.

The crowd erupted into cheers and I'd realised what I'd done. I did it. I actually did it! then my eyes started scanning the crowd almost mechanically. I analysed every face trying to find him. Trying to find Mackenzie. My heart skipped a beat when I found him though. He was standing in front of the toilet block at the back of the venue. We locked eyes and I couldn't look away. He kicked off the wall and turned to walk away. With out thinking I jumped off the stage and weaved through the crowd towards where I saw Mackenzie.

"Mackenzie!" I screamed as my eyes started to prick with tears. I ran towards him and called his name again. He turned around and I jumped into his arms

"Mackenzie I'm sorry" I told him as tears ran down my face "I love you. More than you think. Please. I'm sorry" he hugged me tighter. Then pulled back and kissed me. But not like that time before. I felt like at his touch I was on fire. My face burned red and my lips had taken the train to the depths of hell.

"I love you too" he told me as he pulled away. Too soon if I do say so. I smiled as he kissed my cheek.

"And I will forever" he added. I giggled as he kissed me again. All that has happened was forgotten. I was just happy that we could be together. Finally.

"Soooo" Ryan laughed and Mackenzie groaned and pulled away from me and glared at him.

"You did good dee-dee" Jason told me and a smile spread across my face.

"Yeah. Amazing. Stunning. Breath taking" joy couldn't think of the next word

"Perfect?" Ryan asked her

"Yes!" joy cried and I laughed

"Thanks everyone" I stuck my tongue out at them and Jason scruffed my hair up.

"Hey" I cried and Mackenzie slid his hand into mine. I smiled as he entwined our fingers.

Later that night, every one had decided to come over to my house for dinner. What with me being a ballerina and all. Haha.

"So what are you two dating now?" Ryan asked suddenly and I choked on my food.

"Yeah. You could call it that" Mackenzie laughed and rubbed my back. That actually warmed my heart. Until I had to run to the bathroom and throw up.

"What the hell?!" Mackenzie cried. Oh. He didn't know about the whole 'illness' thing. Dammit.

"Um..." I could hear Jason trying to stall him.

"Are you ok?" Mackenzie asked. Huh. So he had snuck up on me. He stroked the top of my head.

"Mhmm" I mumbled and stood up. He was sitting on the edge of the bath tub and pulled me between his legs, wrapping his arms around me.

"What's wrong?" he asked me. 100% worried of course. I shrugged. I didn't really want to tell him.

"Come on Delilah" Jason called "you have to finish your dinner" Mackenzie looked shocked and I shrugged.

"I kind of have to" I explained

"Why?" dammit I was hoping he wouldn't ask that

"Ummmm..." I had to think fast to get out of this one

"What are you not telling me?" God dammit! when he looks at me like that how can I not tell him?!

"Delilah. Now" Jason ordered.

"I would love to tell you. But. Jason. You know how he is" I kinda said it sarcastically. He followed me as I walked back into the kitchen. The frown never leaving his face.
