Hawaiian Ocean
(Honey) let's bask ourselves under the shade of the apple tree,
And treat ourselves to (our love),
That (is as) tranquil and bright as cherry blossom pink
and our shrouded leaves aren't (dead) when we speak to one another in desolate harmony.
I wish we could bathe (and) swim in (colourless) leaves,
That have faded from their gritty green,
I wish we could drink the Hawaiian sky above us
and wonder what's (as) fascinating as (the) blue sky on a warm Autumn.
Maybe (lying) under the (apple tree) is what we long for,
Somewhere without interruptions
where we can talk about our love.
(A/N ... You read the brackets with the poem but if you read just the brackets it should be
Honey our love is as dead and colourless as the lying apple tree.)
