The blessing of Yellow
Every now and then,
I mean again and again,
Whenever the sun is high,
This scorching ball of fire in the sky,
On a hot summer day let it be,
As it drains everything from me.
So, there is only one thing I turn to,
Good old lemonade under the big blue.
Take a glass of H2O,
And then you stand against the foe,
The sour monster you can devour,
Cut it in half with your power.
Squeeze out the juice from a part,
Making this is like creating a piece of art.
Add two spoons of sugar and a pinch of salt,
And then openly assault.
Let me just say this is a life saver,
So each moment you must savour.
But it takes a skillful alchemist,
This elixir of life can only be created by an artist.
