Right now I'm curling my hair getting ready for our confrontation with Lara-Ann. I want to confront her about it. Then again I could not tell her I know and use it as leverage. I guess it dosen't really matter. My phone chimes.
From: Lara-Ann
Being a bit secretive arn't we. Lol! I'll be at your room in 5.
I roll my eyes at her text. I set the curling iron down and turn it off and unplug it. I spray some hairspray and take one more look at myself. My makeup is very simple; foundation, mascara, black eyeliner, a very light navy blue eye shadow, some light pink lipstick, and light blush. My outfit consists of a navy blue dress with a yellow blazer and some strap wedges. I grab a gold color looking bracelet. It's very simple; just some little's rings connected and some earrings to match it. I spray on some Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.
"Perfect." I tell myself. I hit the lights and I walk out. I make my way to the living room. While walking through my room, I see Mady on her laptop.
"2 minutes!" I scream making her jump.
"Jeez Lily. Little softer next time." She tells me and shuts her laptop. She follows me out to the living room. Cassie and Emma are leaning up against each other on the couch watching Grey's Anatomy, I think. I look at Mady and we nod. We go up behind them and grab their shoulders. They scream. Mady and I fall to the floor with laughter.
"Oh my gosh!" I say out of breath. "You should have seen your faces!" I yell at them. They glare at us. Next thing I know a pillow is being thrown at my face. It dosen't miss.
"Hey!" I yell. "Watch the hair." They laugh.
"Ding Dong." Goes the doorbell.
"Crap." I say. I throw the pillow back on the couch and Cassie fixes it while I go check my hair in the hallway mirror. I put a curl back in place. I hear Mady opening the door.
"Where's Lily?" I hear Lara-Ann ask. I roll my eyes. She dosen't care about me. I smooth my dress down and walk out.
"Hello Lara-Ann." I say and she pulls me into a hug. I whisper in her ear. "It's Lily-Grace to you." I state firmly and let go.
"Oh Lily-Grace your too funny." She says. Well at least she got my name right.
"So!" She claps her hands together over dramatically. "I've thought it over and since I'm supposed to leave in a few days." She says and searches our eyes for any kind of reaction. I blink a couple of times. "That maybe I could stay here the whole summer with you! And maybe I can even move up here with you guys." She jumps with excitement. I walk over to the fridge and take out a sparkling water.
"No." I say and open the top, the water fizzing, giving it the effect I need.
She cocks her head to the side and blinks a few times. "Excuse me?" She says.
"I said no. Also your outfits is hideous. I mean it's something like what my mother would wear." I tell her. Her mouth forms a thin line.
I walk over to her and place my hand on her shoulder. "Come sit on the couch." I tell her. She goes with no resentment. I go over to the end table and open the draw and take out the diary. We form a half circle around her. She looks up in utter confusion.
"So..." I draw out. "You know Ryder Caspar right?" I ask her.
"Your ex?" She asks slyly. I can tell she's waiting for me to flinch or something.
"Yes." I say with no emotion. Her smile falters.
"Well, you remember how we broke up because he cheated on me with some little blonde slut from England." I say and search deep in her face for any signs that she is drawing memories to the surface. I can tell she is.
