I grabbed a napkin and found a pen and wrote down the address of the boarding house on it. Then I handed it to her and said " Here's my address I can't help you right now (it was probably 3 in the morning) , but stop by first thing in the morning."
I took a moment and paused and as I said all this her eyes grew wide with hope.
"Can I just ask you one thing first"
she nodded her head.
"why do you want to talk to Bonnie Bennett"
She tilted her head to the side as if she was confused and then cleared her throat and said.
"i don't know I mean I do know, but its kinda strange. I have been having these weird dreams lately where a masked person keeps telling me to find Bonnie Bennett so I asked around and found out where she lived.I know it's a stupid reason, but every night I dream it and it won't stop I don't know what else to do."
that was strange really strange and for some reason I still wanted to help her.
"Well it's getting late so I better get home before my brother thinks I've started ripping heads of." I said with a hint of a joke in my voice. She smiled a little and then I think she realized that the joke was kinda true.
