Take my hand,
keep me rooted to this land.
Hold me tight,
show me that you will fight.
For all that we share,
I need to see you care.
Sometimes I feel so out of place,
with you in our space.
You have my heart,
but were always apart.
I want you here,
because I hold you, dear.
You are part of me,
and now you hold the key.
To make me smile,
you don't have to go any extra miles.
I just need you to hold me tight,
and not give up this fight.
