For the rest of that Sunday I was forced to hang out with Kelsey and her slaves.
Which let me tell you... not fun!
She'll occasionally made me hold her purse or get her a diet soda.
But today's a new day and all I'm hoping is to make things right with Emmery, Rylan, and especially Clyde.
I didn't see them any more that night I'm guessing they left soon after the half time show.
I began walking to school and noticed people treating me like how I got treated before the whole blog thing, people would smile, wave, and move apart when I walked by.
I always hated that feeling.
"Hey Claire!" Kelsey said with obviously sass behind it.
"Hey Kelsey." I said with obviously attitude behind it.
"Sooo where's my math homework?"
Then out of the corner of my eye I saw Emmery.
Without even knowing what she said I said "uh ok um I got to go?" I said running off to Emmery
"Hey Emmery!" I called out
He turned around quickly "oh, hey Claire." He said while grabbing his book.
"I just wanted to apologize for not going back to you guys I really wanted to its just-" I was cut off
"It's cool I get it." He said brushing it off
"Wait seriously?"
This is going way better than I thought.
"Yeah I knew all along on what was going on, Kelsey's using you." He said shrugging "but Rylan and Clyde on the other hand are still pretty bummed."
Yup knew it, it was to good to be true.
"Do you know where they're?" I asked
He pointed to Rylan
"Thanks! Rylan hear me out!" I called out when I noticed her glaring at me earlier.
She then put her hand up and simply said
"Forget it I know exactly what I'm gonna do." She then walked off.
You gotta be kidding me...
Almost positive she's gonna get back at me somehow.
Now where's Clyde?
Hmm he has gym so he's going outside!
I ran towards the back doors when I saw Clyde.
"Clyde!" I called out
He slowly turned around then began walking some more.
I ran up to him "Clyde I'm so sorry."
I said while walking next to him.
"Claire you really hurt me, I knew it was to good to be true when someone like you wanted to be my friend." He sighed
"What do you mean "someone like me" I knew exactly what he meant I just wanted to hear him say it.
"Uh- I didn't mean it like that, I just meant it like- your- you're so popular and nice and really h- wait what am I even saying anymore. What I meant to say is that you have all these popular friends and it just really confused me on why you wanted to talk to me out of all them. Woah that was a mouthful."
"I'm surprised you even wanted to be my friend, you're one of the nicest guys here and I'm just some girl who was lucky enough to meet a guy like you." I said stop walking.
He looked at me shocked "You actually think that?"
I nodded "Theres no other way to say it than just come out and ask it. Do you forgive me?" I asked
He smiled "of course."
Just then Rylan came running over
"Hey guys!" She said out of breath
"What's going on?" Clyde asked then Rylan smirked
"I finally put the puzzle together!"
Clyde and I both gave each other confused looks
"I know what happened and I'm gonna stop it!" She told me then I knew exactly what she meant.
I was gonna say something when she ran off saying "I have to go!"
It all happened quickly after that a few minutes later Rylan came back with every possible stereotypical kind of person following her with a rage on her face walking up to kelsey and the cheerleaders and Clyde and I were watching the whole thing.
Rylan basically said she doesn't appreciate  how Kelsey's been treating the school. Then Kelsey obviously denied anything she said negative about her until Rylan pulled out a video of her bribing some kid.
Then Kelsey tried to say people in the same social group should stay together rather than be friends with people from different social groups until eventually Rylan won and Kelsey ran off with her cheerleaders following.
Honestly it was the best speech I've heard causing a tear to roll down my cheek as I cheered.
I'll never have to be Kelsey's little slave again and I can be friends with Clyde, Emmery, and Rylan in public.
I turned to Clyde and pulled him into a hug.
When I pulled away he looked at me shocked "people are around what about your status?
"I don't care." I said rubbing the tears away while smiling "you, Emmery, and Rylan are my true friends and if being friends with you guys means going down on the "popular chart" then so be it."
He smiled "This is a new side I've never seen from you." He said while we walked back to class.
"Hopefully it's a good side."
"It's my favorite."
I felt my cheeks redden as I walked into my next class.
This has officially been the best Monday ever little did I know that tomorrow would be the worst Tuesday ever.
