Blake tried really hard to get over Chris, but that was a lot easier said than done. Blake just usually tried to ignore Chris as much as possible because as soon as they would start talking, Blake would get butterflies. Chris' voice, his body language, the way his lips moved and the way his eyes were so alive...everything about him was the dictionary definition of temptation. It was so hard for Blake to not tell him what was going on.
In other circumstances, Blake had never shied away from telling someone about romantic feelings for them. Most of Blake's past relationships had happened because Blake had asked them out. If it weren't for this rule of Hunter's and the possibility of Blake's role on Tag, You're It being in jeopardy, Blake would have gone to Chris a long time ago and told him what was going on.
However, Blake loved being in Tag, You're It so much and loved everyone in the band. For one, Blake had a real family with the band. A family that felt like a family. That was too much to risk over a guy that Blake could easily get over as soon as they were away from each other for a long enough time.
Unfortunately, Chris seemed to sense that Blake was becoming distant from him; either that, or he suddenly became abnormally clingy to Blake for whatever reason. He became extra nice and extra sweet, always trying to get Blake's attention at every opportunity possible.
Blake saw it was Chris sensing that something was wrong and trying to fix it. What Blake didn't know was that when Chris had said that he was torn between Hunter and someone else...Blake was that someone else. Since Blake had not caught onto this though, Blake didn't catch on to any of the signals that Chris was sending.
There had been some tension between Hunter and Blake ever since Blake "admitted" to being wrong about Chris' feelings. Hunter still suspected that there was something going on between Blake and Chris, and Blake still believed that Hunter was the one that had something going on with Chris. Neither Hunter nor Blake confronted the other on the situation though, due to the fact that neither of them liked confrontation very much.
This didn't help the situation.
Blake stood backstage, doing makeup touch ups. Blake wore a tight, black leather dress and matching heeled boots that went up to the knee.
Chris walks by, "Hi."
Blake looks over, "Hi."
"You look cute tonight."
"Thanks. So do you."
Blake then resumes doing makeup.
Chris sighs, then walks off. Hunter senses his unhappiness and walks up to him.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just...girl problems."
Hunter raises an eyebrow, "Define girl problems."
Chris rolls his eyes, "Well, I'm not sure if Blake told you this, but I'm sort of having trouble choosing between two people I'm interested in."
"I haven't heard anything about that. Blake must have to decided to keep it between you guys."
"Oh. Well, the thing is, no matter which one of them I choose, there's just a lot of problems and factors and and bad things that could potentially get in the way of my relationships with either one of them. I want to pick one of them to actually start something with, I just...don't know which one."
"Date 'em both." Hunter jokes.
Chris laughs, "Polygamy isn't really my thing...unless it's strictly sexual."
Hunter laughs, "Saaaaame."
They high five.
"In all seriousness though," Chris continues, "I really like them both...I actually like them. I could actually have a future with either of them."
