Aubrey"No fair, you cheated!" I said pushing him over once we made it to my mailbox.
"How I cheat?!" He said, lightly chuckling.
"Cause you got a head start before me!" I said.
"Which proves you just ain't fast."
"I am, you just didn't let me get ready.." I said crossing my arms.
"You mad baby?" He asked, cooing in my ear and I smiled, pushing him back and laughed.
"No, I'm not mad."
"Well, I won fair and square." He said shrugging.
"Man, whatever." I waved him off and headed up my drive way.
"Don't be mad." I heard him say behind me.
"I'm not." I said, turning around.
"Promise?' He asked, now standing his tall figure over me. I nodded, astonished on how controlling he can be when he's all caring and stuff.
"Good, so same time tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? Why tomorrow?" I raised an eyebrow out of curiosity.
"So I can beat your ass again."
I sucked my teeth. "We'll see about that." I said and a smirk landed on his face.
"I'll be waiting then." He lightly touched my chin. I slightly blushed. How can he have this affect in me when we just met?
"And just so you know, if you were a gentleman, you would have let me won on purpose like most guys."
"Oh really? Cause I can show you better than I can tell you; let me take you out tomorrow night." He insisted confidently, which kind of surprised me a little, I mean we just met.
"You see babygirl, I'm not like most guys..." He licked his lips at me. I swear I heated up to nearly a thousand degrees.
"I'm different." He uttered, touching my hand. I pulled back quickly.
"What's wrong? Do I make you nervous?" It threw me completely off out how is demeanor changed from creepy to concern.
"Um.." I said laughing a little. "Is this how you approach most females that you're interested in?"
"Only if they're interested in me." Chris titled his head some, studying me like he was looking for something.
"Eyes up here..." He mumbled lifting up my chin. "I can tell you're interested in me...so what do you say?"
"Mmm, I'll think about it.."
"Why?" He asked frowning.
"Well what's the rush? Besides, I'm not one of those 'live fast' girls that you think I am."
He shrugged. "Fine, fair enough." I slightly smiled, nodding my head, and began to walk off until I felt him grab my wrist roughly.
