"Shit." I mumbled quickly getting out of bed, shutting my alarm off. I rushed in the bathroom, cutting on the shower. I was running late for work and that's not good, considering the fact I'm never really late.

I took me a good 20 minutes shower making sure I cleaned really good, and rinsed my body off. After I finished, I hopped out the shower and dried myself off while pulling out some lotion and other necessities that I needed to get ready.

Once dry, I put on my bra and panties and greased myself down doing other hygiene things before putting on my outfit for today.

Once I finished curling my hair some and threw on light make up, I heard a noise coming from downstairs. I paused, making sure I heard correctly, only to hear no sound this time.

I bit the inside of my cheek in nervousness. I put everything back up quickly and turned off my bathroom light, grabbed my purse and phone, and headed down the steps, hearing footsteps this time.

I spun around and saw no one behind me and the footsteps stopped.

Creepy.

Maybe I'm still alarmed from waking up all of sudden, yeah, that's what's causing me to hear random noises.

I made my way down the steps and quickly made my way out the house, locking my door and headed to my car, opening the door..

Wait.

I thought I locked my car door..

I shook my head, and dug in my purse to grab my car keys. As I looked threw my purse for my keys, I felt a light tap on my shoulder.

"Hold on." I said not really paying attention.

"I got this for you." Chris said.

"What?"

"For you...." He repeated handing me a fully bloom, single red rose. I looked at him in awe.

"Chris...you didn't have to."

"Well I did. It seems like you where having a bad morning..."

"Oh um....yeah. My keys." I gave him a slight smile.

"You mean these?" He held my keys up shaking them with a grin in his face.

"Where did you get those?"

"They fell on the ground while you where searching in your purse." He said shrugging.

"Really? Because I didn't hear them.."

"Maybe your mind was too occupied...? Hm?" As I reached to grab my keys he yanked them back, pushing me back some.

"Quit playing Chris, I have to get to work." I sighed in agitation, reaching for them again and he stepped back.

"All play, no work princess. Don't be so serious all the time." He said chuckling, hiding the keys behind his back.
