So they say keep your friends close, but enemies closer. As he beats around the bush, bangs on the door, you fear thy monster who is your neighbor next door.

I shot my eyes open from my sleep due to a bad dream. I thought I heard my name being called. The nightmares I've been having lately have been completely out of had and it honestly felt like I was drained of energy due to how vivid they were being. My heart started pounding once I heard my phone beginning to vibrate so I pushed the covers back off of me and sleepily reached over and grabbed my phone seeing that it was nearly 6am. I sighed and unlocked my phone seeing many messages from Chris and one missed called from him. I rolled my eyes. I swear guys handle rejection way worse then girls do.
To be honest with you guys, I missed the way he gave me attention, the way he made me smile and laugh, and the way he looked at me. He made me feel different. I know at some point that there is supposed to be a line drawn somewhere in life but with him there wasn't. He was unpredictable. And that's what I admired most about him.

I could've went on and on but he really wasn't my concern at the moment. I swiped them off my screen and got up and headed to the shower because I had papers to drop off at my office before I could go on with my day. The warm, hot water ran down my back as I began to daydream about the nightmare that I had. It was pretty weird. What really startled me was that I couldn't really remember what happened the day before. I remember getting tired while I was watching tv and I headed up to bed, I think. I mean, how else would I have gotten into bed?
The bad dream felt real. Too real for my comfort. I'm not stressed- Well okay, maybe, I am. I rinsed the soap off my skin still in deep thought with flashes of the dream coming to my mind here and there. I remembered the smell of his cologne as he pressed his body against mine like he was trapping me. We were arguing but I didn't know what it was about. Next thing I know, I was literally running for my life. The dream was short, but fast.
I stepped out wrapping a towel around me after I finished drying myself off.

When I finished freshening myself up. I peaked outside my window and saw the newspaper kid on his bike making his morning rounds. I smiled. Today was going to be a good day. I quickly threw on some clothes (Outfit above) and took my phone off the charger. Once I was outside, I looked across the street to Chris's house seeing that all of the blinds seeing his garage door shut and blinds where closed. After I grabbed something to eat, I headed out the door and heard footsteps coming towards me.
