I knew instantly that my mother had lost her humour until further notice. I turned around and made a stop gesture and we turned back to the dining hall and lifted the seal.
"Why'd you lead us back?" Tsubasa frowned.
"Didn't you hear what the messenger said to her mother? We might have a war on our hands against the Shades. We'll have to fight if it goes on long enough." Inga warned. "That'd be bad for me, my magic runs out fast."
Being a primordial mage his magic basically did anything within reason, but it was tiring, which is why the green kingdom is small.
The Red kingdom does music magic, Orange does space and time magic, Yellow does Art magic, Green does primordial as I just told you, Blue does stun magic, Purple does maker magic, pink does elemental, White does light, Brown does smell magic (I've met a few wierdos from there), Gray does transformation magic, and finally Black they do dark magic, and if that's not shady enough they live on a island that is like always cloudy and thundery."Another thing, Mother told me the shades declined the invitation." I said putting 2 and 2 together. This could only get worse. Why'd I say that! I heard a shout and some cheers, I ran out and there was Ben, my little brother. His skin a pale blue and he was floating. He had gone into element mode. I guess it hadn't gone worse. We cheered he bent his way around and stuck his tongue out at me, I returned the gesture. I tried to airbend and it worked, now that the air embodiment was back we could use the element. The wind I sent went through Ben and he fell. He was material again. That day was amazing, the food was great Tsubasa's brothers reactions to the glued chairs was priceless. We saved the goo-cano for later. Since the war started we were placed into hiding, an ancient pink temple, Meya, Tsubasa (mostly because his father couldn't care less about him) and Inga (by our request) were there with Ben and I. We trained, were schooled and I started a relationship with Tsubasa. We found Inga had a very rebellious personality, I found it surprising at first but this was the real Inga. I also started violin lessons with a teacher from Red. I guess I should stop writing, I need to train a bit.~Iris Levanek x3094
I put my pen back in the inkwell then I got up and left the desk. I went to change into my combat dress, a flexible and fireproof pink and white sundress.
I made my way to the pool. I lit the torches and dove in the water, I swam around for a bit but then I bent myself up so I was standing. I sat down to meditate. I placed my feet together and put my arms out and put my thumb and middle finger together and fingers out then took a deep breath and released it. I felt the water air and fire shift, then I heard the rock around the pool go up and down rapidly and harshly. I created a small hurricane. I went into element mode (did I tell you, I've been able to do it for a while now) I fell into the eye of the hurricane that I made and threw myself up and sent water around everywhere.
"Iris, that's something else, maybe you are ACTUALLY getting to my level." I readied a large orb of water and poised myself to attack, but I saw it was Tsubasa.
"Hmmmmm, oh really. We'll see." I smiled sheepishly, I walked over to him, he gave a quizzical look. I studied him a bit more and stared into his face and stuck my tongue out and then kissed him. He put his hands around my neck and after a while we broke away.
"I'm tired, will you please come with me." I asked, Tsubasa looked equally tired. He nodded his head and I took his hand and we went to my room, at the castle we had maids to clean our rooms after breakfast, but here we cleaned our own rooms.
We sat and talked about escaping and helping in the war, I wondered who was winning. We had no news, except that my father was released of the prison to fight. I wanted so badly to do the same, so did my music teacher(he was a bit younger than us, older than Ben), Meya, Inga and Tsubasa.
"I wonder who's winning the war." I asked, my question went unanswered, I looked over at Tsubasa. He was fast asleep. I sighed and curled up on a chair next to the bed. I fell right asleep.
The next morning I was shocked awake by Tsubasa.
"Iris wake up, someone's at the door." I got up and fixed my hair and dress. I stood at the door and opened it. It was Meya and Inga.
"Well if you lovebirds are done we have an escape plan. We need to fight in the war." Meya said.
"We have to take the stealthy route out. We shall take the catacombs." Inga described our escape.
"Ok, after breakfast, I'm hungry." Tsubasa said looking down.
"WAFFLES!" I cheered. The only food that I can make without burning it to a crisp. "I'll make 'em!"
Tsubasa sighed "But your going to take forever." He pouted
"Why don't you help me?" I put my face up to his and smiled.
"Ok, fine." He blushed and I moved my face away.
"I'll help too!" Inga said
"Well I might as well." Meya complained. "I bet I'll make mine first!!"
"No magic!" Inga laughed.
"Still, I'll be first." Meya skipped along the hall.
"No me!" Tsubasa growled playfully.
"Me!" Meya hopped around giggling.
"I will be first cause I feel like it." I said with an overconfident infliction
"Fine lets just get going. I'm too hungry to argue with you guys." Tsubasa's stomach growled. We started and I placed two before the others even started.
"DONE!" I cheered.
"Come on!" Meya had a very competitive side, if you hadn't noticed.
We ate fast and set away quickly. We left a note saying that we left and raided the pantry and took small mattresses to sleep on. All the basics.
We followed Inga's plan exactly except when we had to turn a different corner to dodge a guard patrolling the catacombs.
Finally we were out, free, ready to face the world.
Done. I know i uploaded yesterday but I was bored.
