I woke up slowly with a orange and purple sunrise towards my face. I heard voices off to the other side.
"You're hiding something, it better not be about my daughter and your relationship. If I find something you will wish you were never born." I rolled over to the side so I was on my back. I kept my eyes closed as to keep them from knowing that I was awake.
"No ma'am, I don't have any secrets to keep from your daughter." Anymore. I thought to myself and internally giggled. It went silent after that and I fell back asleep.
I woke up at what seemed to be an hour later, I heard a fire crackling by my feet and birds were singing, all seemed right with the world. Of course that never lasted. I smelled fire singeing hair. I got up to have a ray of light blasted at my leg, I was thrown back to a tree. I rolled away as another beam was shot, it hit the tree and it burned to the ground, I used the fire to attack, I noticed that there were five of them. Meya had conjured up a bow and a few arrows and jumped to a tree unnoticed by our attackers. I ignored her and cartwheeled through the air and flipped to escape a beam and activated element mode. I threw myself on one who was fighting Tsubasa their back facing me. I froze and went out of element mode, I reappeared out of moisture a few feet away. Then, becauseI'm me, a light beam hit me as soon as I materialized. I was sent back into the cliff wall and I kept going through the inside of the cliff earth bending my way through. I popped out next to a soldier, who I incinerated.
Two other White soldiers were taken down with one left.
"MEYA!!" Inga screamed, I looked over and there was Meya, on the ground, just breathing, a red and gory looking burn on her chest. The remaining soldier looked proud of himself.
"K-keep goi." Meya could hardly finish a sentence. I noticed a crest on his hat, belt and chest. I bent them away only they didn't move, I sensed for a rock in there but nothing, there wasn't anything but pure nothing! I couldn't bend it. A beam went for me, I hand springed myself back to dodge it and it went through the gap between my legs.
"Tsubasa, do the thing!" I hollered at him hoping he would know what I mean for him to do.
"Which one?!" He didn't.
The thing!" I emphazised
"Oh, yep." He went ahead and blue lights went everywhere.
"You really think that that'll work on me, wow you really have been hermits for the past eight years. We know your power, stun is just a cover up, no wonder the Blue kingdom rarely said anything before the war." He was right, the Blue kingdom was very strict about who got in and all, I've never been there myself so that's how strict they are, not even friends of the royal family got in there.
Tsubasa looked shook, he must have never anticipated this. My mother took over and turned on her element mode, she visibly turned into a rocks and punched at the bloke who hurt Meya. He dodged with ease, this guy was good. I joined in and Tsubasa stood there looking confused.
"I have an idea," He went in and used his stunner. The soldier was mesmerized by it and mum hit him over the head with the butt of her fist.
I high fived Tsubasa and he pulled me into a kiss. My mum grabbed our heads, she had now left element mode, and pulled us away. "Not now, or here."
I scowled slightly. "Inga, I'll help Meya, water." I demanded. Inga made some and I bent it away. I concentrated on the waters healing properties and it turned into something only the water embodiment can do, turn water into recovery water, duh. I slowly ran the water back and forth along the wound. Her skin started covering the outsides, when I had done all I could I stood up and clapped. "Now let's get going to a better healer for a bandage and some rest."
No sooner had I spoke then five more white clad soldiers jumped out of the trees with a net spread out to capture us. I firebent at the net but nothing happened, I kept trying even as we were trapped under the net.
"Iris, stop, wherever they are taking us to, it'll be somewhere we can escape and get to the front lines quicker."Inga tried to talk sense into me, I didn't want to listen but I knew he was right. I sat down and closed my eyes tight and focused on the energy pulsating through the air to help get us out of the stupid net. Oh, looks like being put into a carriage. Great. We were tied up and one put a light blade to my neck so no one would try anything. The blade was hot and I've had it digging into my neck for 3 hours as we travelled through plains and mountains to the White city.
We saw it through the small barred window at the front.
"Welcome to the White city, your new home. Well that is under a castle, in a cell, forever." Our driver looked over at us and smirked. I scowled and closed my eyes again.
We soon got to an entrance gate. I walked where they told me to, I answered the question, then asked my own. "Why exactly did you people kill my sister and start a war with people just living their lives, we were at peace for a thousand years and no uprisings to speak of till now? If you'll answer one question I ask that it be this." I tried to sound as diplomatic as possible with a light blade on my neck.
"No questions please or we'll have to send you, Ohhhhh, elsewhere. Like a guillotine, or a shooting range." The guard walking us to the cells we would occupate said with dreamy eyes. I grunted as I was pushed into a cell with Meya and mom.
Sorry I didn't upload last week school started and I had homework to do and papers to fill.
