18 — someone that changed your life
Dear Charles,
Oh my goodness.
Charles Henry King, you’re everything to me. You’re my bestfriend.
You’ve been such a great friend to me since the very beginning Charles. And you’ve stood by me when I needed someone and nothing means more to me than that. I’m so grateful to you. I know it’s not easy being my friend. I’m overemotional and troubled and I shut people out when I need them because I’m stubborn. I’m a bit bipolar and I mess with the wrong people. I’m always hurt and it’s hard for me to trust.
But I trust you. I trust you with everything. I trust you with Oliver and I trust you with myself. I trust you to keep me sane, to hush my cries, to love me and to not hurt me.
You’ve made everything so bearable. You’ve changed my life. I can’t even imagine not having you near me, not having you by my side. I can’t imagine it because we’ve shared our whole lives with each other. We’ve played together and grown up together, we laugh together and cry together, we’re so alike yet so different and we’re good together. We make each other stronger. Or well, you make me stronger.
You make me want to be better, you make me want to be happy. I don’t want to be like this always Charles and I promise you I won’t be. I won’t do that to you. You’ve done too much for me. Thank you for sticking by me through everything, for genuinely loving me. You’re absolutely amazing Charles. You’re strong. Stronger than I’ll ever be, stronger than most of the people I’ve ever met and ever will meet. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Love,
Olivia
