We all walked together to the place we knew so well by now— the cemetery. It was a brisk, snowy Thanksgiving Day. Ever since our three siblings left this world, we visited the cemetery on Thanksgiving, Christmas and the three birthdays and since then, we've gotten to know the cemetery well.

Gavin, Daxton, Willow and I were all together with mom and dad taking their time to walk through the cemetery. I was holding Willow's hand and Gavin was holding Daxton's to make sure neither of them ran off. We arrived at the three marble graves that were surrounded by dead, brown grass that was slowly being covered in a blanket of white. The graves had each had a thin layer of snow on top of them that looked as if they had hats on.

Gavin and I lay down the beach towels that we brought with us on the grass and the four of us sat down together. We were all thinking about our three siblings that we had lost when Willow looked up at me. Her big, crystal blue eyes were brighter than ever and her long, bright blonde hair blowing in the wind. She had just turned five and I started seeing qualities from everyone in our family in her more and more every day.
"Em..." she said softly, "I wish I got to meet them."
"I know Evie," I answer, kissing the top of her blonde head, "I know."

Mom and dad joined us a few minutes later and Willow snuggled into mom's lap. The six of us sat there together for a while, cherishing that we were all together. We were safe. We were happy. We were healthy. We were there for each other and we had helped each other through so many rough times over the past decade. None of us were depressed anymore. None of us were constantly in tears. None of us were constantly fearing the worst.

None of us were lost.
