"I know." She sighed slumping on his heat as he read his book.

Silence

"But-"

"Ugh"

"But if you would just listen-"

"No Jazmine, last time we went on a date I had to physically put hands on someone. I'm not ending up in holding again-" Huey ordered, though he abruptly stopped as he looked down to Jazmine who was looking at him with big eyes.

"Stop that." He demanded.

Her bottom lip began trembling

"Don't-"

Then she did it...

she pouted that damn lip.

Huey groaned as he slammed his book shut.

"Get up." He ordered slinging her off him.

"Ah!" She shrieked as he tossed her off.

"Go home, get dressed we are leaving at seven." He said as he stood up from his bed.

Jazmine lifted her head as she scrunched his sheets in excitement.

"Really?!"

"Leave before I change my mind."

Jazmine wasn't expecting anything fancy. She knew Huey.

Out of all the four years they had been together, he has only taken her out to a fancy dinner once a year...on her birthday.

Though she didn't mind. Just getting out the house once in a while was good enough for her.

Her curly hair bounced on her shoulders and put on some simple pink sheer lipgloss and waited downstairs.

As she waited she took a look at the time.

7:00

Her eyebrow lifted.

Hm...that's not like Huey.

He is usually-

Jazmine smiles to herself.

"Punctual." She finished as she smoothed her dress as she stood. With class, she gracefully walked to the front door. Revealing her large haired boyfriend.

Huey eyed her up down. Gazing at her appearance with focused eyes.

"Hey handsome." Jazmine gushed as she closed the door behind her. Wrapping her arm around Huey's.

Interlocking them.

Huey scowled as he headed to the sidewalk. Past his car.

"Hey...we passed your car-"

"I know." Huey finished for her. Leaving Jazmine's mind wander about the places he could possibly take her.
