Couples weeks went by and I'm starting to have a mini crush on Omar. Alright not a mini crush but I'm starting to have feelings for Omar. I promise myself that I won't have crushes on guys since Ginuwine but to call them jerks. But I couldn't hold it any longer, I'm falling for Omar and I'm falling hard. Our project was due any day and I got the pictures that Lexis have for me and they were great. Lexis told me that I should become a model, but I told her I want to become a singer. She said " You can become a singer/model Aaliyah, think about all the money you can make $$$$$

Aaliyah; well that do sound promising but I want to do singing for my fans and my parents. I want to make my parents proud of me :) You feel me Lex
Lexis; yeah I feel but I got to get to class so see you around Kat
Lexis left me standing in the middle of the hall. I went the other direction to Ms.York class, when I came across a poster that's says they are having a singing contest in the auditorium on Friday, after school. They will be having snacks, food,games and someone special there to see who  got talent. I thought to myself, this could be once in a lifetime offer!! I can probably get famous and have platinum albums and become maybe just maybe princess or queen of some genre. ;) I was so worried about the contest and everything else, I forgot to get to class, I ran down the hall and went to Ms.York before the bell ring but by the time I got there, the bell ring and I knew I was gonna be in trouble. I walk up to the door and Ms.York open the door and told me that I have detention. I told her alright and sat down in my seat, she continued with the lesson. When class was over  and pack up my stuff. Ms York stop me and said she needed to talk to me.
Aaliyah; yeah Ms.York
Ms.York; Aaliyah I'm very worried, this is the second you shown up to my class. Something wrong?
Aaliyah; nothing wrong Ms.York, I just be getting losing track of time. :)
Ms.York; Well ok! I don't want to hold you for class and I'm the taking that detention away. But don't it know more 😑
Aaliyah; ok
I walk out her class to be greeted by Jada.
Jada; let me guess..... You got detention?
Aaliyah; nah she took it away
Jada; Oh wow
Aaliyah; Yeah okay, let's get to class
*Skipping to lunch 🍔🍟*
After dealing with the teachers and laughing at corny jokes. I finally made way to the table to be greeted by Jada,Kidada, Omar, Sonta, Lisa, Pac,Raheem, and steel.
I said my hellos and sat down and munch on a pizza.
Lisa; Y'all heard about singing contest that's happening in the auditorium on Friday after school?
Steel; yeah I heard about that but I'm going for the food ;)
Pac; your fat self would go for the food.
Steel; true dat
Raheem; I'm only going because Marisela wanted go so bad.
Kidada; Awe goals
Raheem; *blushes* that's mine bae
Pac; I want to go so I can show off my rap skills
*starts rapping*
Lisa; yeah me too Pac *Daps Pac*
Jada; are you gonna join Liyah?
Aaliyah; yeah I'll join
Omar; that's what's up Liyah
Aaliyah; *smirks*
Kidada: what song you gonna sing?
Aaliyah; I'm thinking of singing Ava Marie
Lisa; Sounds Cool
Jada; yeah it do
We talk during the lunch and made fun of each other. There was an announcement from the speaker, talking about something important coming up m. All the teens got out from the  cafeteria and went in to auditorium. All of us sat together listen to the principle, Mr.John announcement.
Mr.John; as everyone know, there is a contest not just any contest a singing/rapping/dancing/etc. We will have a sign up sheet by the door near Ms.Heart. Ms.Heart please  wave.
Ms.heart; *waves*
Mr.John; please everyone keep everything PG please and thank you. Now everyone should be heading to class. After he announce non-sense, all of us got up went to the sign up sheet and put our names and dip.
*Skipping to the End of day/home*
After I got home, Kidada came over and we started talking about throwback. With Janet Jackson playing in the background
Kidada; Gurl I remember this picture of us!!

Aaliyah; yeah I remember that too
Kidada; I think we was going to a waterpark or somewhere else. I forgot
Aaliyah: *chuckles* As we looking at old pictures, I came a cross pictures with me and Ginuwine.

As I stared at the pictures and remember the good times and the bad times. Kidada notice my stare and look down at the picture.
Kidada; Do you still think of him?
Aaliyah; yeah all the times.
Kidada; oh wow
Aaliyah: but enough about him and let's get ready to got to Lisa house.
