My name is Aurora Evans. I'm seventeen years old, and my mom thinks I need a babysitter. All my life, I thought that vampires, werewolves, and fairies were fake. A pigment of someone's imagination. Well, guess what. They're real, and it just so happ...

*Aurora's POV*
*Back At Home*
Somehow, I find myself back at this hell hole. Even though I said I'd rather be home earlier, I'd really rather be anywhere else right now.
As soon as we got home, George went up to his room for a nap, and I literally stared at the lilac walls in my bedroom. I'm so bored....There's nothing to do.
Something sparked in me.
About a week ago, I watched a video about the things you should do when you're bored. One of those things was to pretend you're a spy. I jumped off my bed, and rushed to my closet, searching for my all black outfit I made for this exact reason.....I have a lot of time on my hands.
I found it, and got dressed in record time.

Now I feel like a spy.
I feel like a child, but a child spy...
I grabbed a notebook, a pen, and my phone, and tip-toed down the stairs, into the living room where Zayn was watching TV.
(hot)Target located.
I rolled behind the couch to his left quietly.
His secret won't be kept for long, for I am super spy Rory!
He got up from the couch, and went into the kitchen.
This is my chance...
I dived over the couch and landed right where he was sitting- smack in the middle of the couch.
I sat with one leg over the other, trying to look sophisticated. He strolls back into the living room with a sandwich in his mouth, to find me in his spot.
Surprised, huh?
I just stared at him, while he took a seat next to me.
"I know your secret." I demanded in my most spy-like voice, not taking my eyes off the TV.
His head swerved.
"What secret?" he asked nervously. Yay, he was actually playing along!
"Don't play dumb with me!" I turned to look him in the eyes. He put down his sandwich, and looked me in the eyes.
"A secret's a secret. Let's keep it that way."
I stared harder into his eyes.
He looked away, and I pretended to write something in my book.
"What are you writing?"
"None of your business."
"Just like my secret is none of your business" He cleverly retorted.
"Your secret is my business. It's the whole world's business. You're a danger to everyone." I thought of something on the spot.
"I've learned to cope." he replied, carefully.
"Cope with what, exactly?" I was still in spy mode, and he was still in bad guy mode.
"Stop acting like you don't know. Do you want to hear it from me? Is that it?" He was starting to get a little annoyed....or was it part of the game?
I nodded eagerly.
"Fine! I'm a vampire!"
What?! I expected to hear something like 'Yes, I have a device that can shut down the whole internet' or 'I have a huge robot army ready to destroy all humans'. He took a whole new turn.
I remained silent, smirking at him.
"How did you come up with that?" I really didn't expect to hear that.
"I didn't come up with it. That's my secret." He said in a matter-off-fact voice.
Vampires aren't real.
"Vampires aren't real." I said my thought out loud, feeling pretty sure of myself.
"But they are. I'll show you."
He's delusional, but I want to see where this is going.
"Um, okay."
Let's see.
He got up slowly, then started running around the living room.........................................with super speed.
He stopped in front, showing me his fangs.
Well, I just shit my pants.
Vampires. Are. Real.
I should be scared, but right now I don't know what I'm feeling.
I got up, and ran up to my room.
What the hell just happened? That was supposed to be a nice little game of spy. He just told me the biggest secret of his life.......He's probably going to kill me.
Aurora, stop being silly. If he was going to kill you, he probably would've done it already.
I locked my door.
Now I realize everything. His eyes were red, because, well....yeah. The drink he had today, was blood. Blood. Someone's blood.
