Abused//L.H. COMPLETE

Ch 43

My eyes open and my head is in the crook of Luke's neck. I move my head up slightly to see Ashton and Meghan asleep farther on the couch. I need fresh air, I get up slowly to avoid waking up Luke. Its a success, but now that I'm up,  Addie is. I pick her up and bring her to my room to find her leash. After finding it, I clip it to her collar and I carry her outside. I be sure to slip the apartment key into my pocket before shutting the door. I set Addie down and I start to walk down the steps that lead to the main door. Once Addie and I appear outside we sit there a while. I be sure to let Addie do her business. I look down at my wrists and I feel a clash of deep regret, what have I done. This probably hurts Luke more than it does me, and I certainly don't want that. I look up to see two girls,

"Hi are you Amanda?" Says the younger of the two, who looks about five.

"Um, yes, actually I am." I say nervous. 

"Omg, we heard that you and Luke are like a thing!" The older one says, she looks about thirteen. 

"Yes." I smile wide at the two cuties. "we are a thing." Saying these words makes me feel pride in Luke's and I's relationship. Except how would they know. "But um, how did you know?"

"Well our J-pop magazine has a whole two pages dedicated to you guys, plus your on the cover!" The older girl says pulling out the magazine. 

"Can I see?" I ask motioning to the article. 

"Sure!" She hands me it. I scan over the cover as the two pet Addie. A cute picture of me and Luke from paint shopping is photo cropped onto the cover. I open it up to see our "whole two pages." A picture of Luke carrying me out of Starbucks is included as well as us at the mall. At the top there is a title plastered in big letters. "Could this be the new 'IT' couple?"  Oh God. I skim over the reading and its basically the story of how we met and got to know each other. It feels like we met forever ago, when realistically it wasn't.

"Thank you!" I say handing the magazine back to the older girl. 

"Your welcome!" She says.

"I  like your dog." The younger one says. 

"Thank you!" I smile wide at her, "But we should really get going now." I say as the girls smile sweetly up at me. I stand up and turn to go inside. I guess I didn't realize that Luke and I were becoming a big deal. I get into our apartment and unleash Addie. They're all still sleeping so I decide to grab my phone. The time is 5:30PM. Wow, I skipped lunch and breakfast, but I'm not even hungry?  I get up and make some ramen noodles. After they're done cooking I walk to sit at the table and I see that Meghan is awake. 

"Ohh I want some." Meghan says. Walking to the kitchen to maker her own bowl. Once her noodles are finished, she comes to join me at the table. "Amanda, you know what I want?" She asks.

"What do you want?" I ask her. 

"I want to go to college." She says. "I want to go to college real bad." 

College was never an option for me. I had average scores and I wasn't involved in any sports either, therefore scholarships were out of the option. Plus I had/have no money. But Meghan did volleyball and had nearly straight A's all the time. Its a wonder she never got a scholarship. 

"Do it." I say. "Do it please." Meghan deserves the best of everything. The best boy. The best education. She already has the sweetest parents. 

"I think I will." She says. "but I also haven't told Ashton that I want to stay, and from Luke's reaction, I'm almost scared to." 

"Meghan, don't be. Luke and I made up after one day, and I honestly think that Ashton is more understanding about these types of things." I say to Meghan. 

But now Luke understands, and I'm so grateful for that. 

"What do you want to do? Like with the whole tour?" Meghan asks me. Its unbelievable to think that they leave in just a week. 

"I want to model, a woman offered me a job, and I want to take it, but I don't want to disappoint Luke. The last thing I want is to upset him more, or for him to break up with me." My words come out easily. "I've never had the chance to follow my dreams, I've never had the chance to even think about what I actually want for myself. Its never been about me until now and I think that now is my time to do what I want for a change." I say hoping that didn't come out selfish. 

"I totally agree with you." Meghan's words send a rush of relief through me. "I think you should do whats best for you, because you've never gotten to do that before. I also think that Luke should be able to understand that." 

"And I do, Amanda I want you to do what makes you happy." I didn't even notice that Luke was awake. "I want you to do the modeling job." 

I look up at Luke as he comes to sit next to me at the table.  "Really?" I question. I mean he was totally pissed at me just yesterday. 

"Of course baby." His words make my heart flutter.

OMFG 

SO MY DAD GOT 5SOS CONCERT TICKETS THROUGH WORK AND IM GOING IN 3 DAYS 1 HOUR 8 MINUTES AND 14 SECONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT IM SO SO SO SO EXCITED AND IM SURE I WILL TELL U ALL ABOUT IT!!!!!!
