You're much more than what I could have asked for;
You can bring my drowning boat safely to the shore.
Even if you live far away from me;
Your words can make me giggle insanely.
In times of trouble, your support makes me smile;
Pushing me forward to cover another mile.
I know you won't like me shedding a tear;
I know you'll help me overcome my every fear.
Although I don't know you since a long time;
But trusting one like you, cannot be called a crime.
Even if I'm not blood-related to you;
There still appears a bond, unbelievably true.
The worry of you judging me, doesn't seem to be there;
I somehow feel, with you, my problems I can share.
The fact that I can count on you, gives me much relief;
A brother like you can successfully take away my grief.
I hope I won't come across as a sickening burden to you;
'Cause I can really be a menace when I do want to!
But don't worry, you can unabashedly tell me what you feel;
I'll try to become a bit less mad, and easier for you to deal!
Dear brother, thanks for making me feel your presence;
Though miles apart, I am content to have your bracing essence.
