The water seemed so frightening, the ant had started to drown;
With no more strength to survive, she was only going down.She prayed for a Messiah to come and save her life;
But alas! For the ant's sake, in the water no one would dive.Suddenly she could feel something supporting her from under;
Her life had been rescued right before she did surrender.A thinsie leaf had appeared to help in the hour of need;
The ant was saved from drowning without even having to plead.She exclaimed, "Thank you so much for saving my life today!"
The leaf kept quiet as if her mind had drifted far away.The ant looked at her for a while and said, "You are really strong."
The leaf as if taken aback, said" Oh no, you're opinion's surely wrong!I'm always told by those creatures that I am very weak;
I can't even support myself, then such words why'd you speak?"The ant lightly chuckled and gave a hug to the leaf;
"You're strong if you can protect the ones like me from grief!"Pointing at the rock, the ant said, "Look, it seems so full of power;
But it's sunk itself and can't even save a drowning flower.You brought hope for me, when it was lost completely;
In such a time, it was you who gave a sense of relief to me.""I'd never thought this way, no one had said these words to me,"
Saying this, the leaf was filled with a different pride and glee.The river bank was reached by the leaf and the ant;
Another shot to confidence, the leaf to herself did grant.In the days that came, she happily covered her leafy life's length;
Overcoming all difficulties through the new-found definition of strength!
