Chapter three
Rachel's P.O.V (Raven)
"Pixies actually." Dove stated as she looked up with a few tears still sparkling in her eyes.
My own eyes went wide, "I-I thought my father killed all of them off!" a small pixie flitted over and started poking around my cloak.
Dove smiled softly, "They're kind of hard to kill." she stated softly. She then held out her hand, and several of the pixies started fighting over who would land on it.
I blinked as I watched this, "Wow, just wow." I watched a small smile form on Dove's face as the pixies flitted around her, the room, and even us. Several of the pixies had broken from the group and were currently flying around us with interest.
Dove looked up at us, "I'm sorry I caused everyone so much trouble."
My eyes slightly narrowed, "Who said you caused problems?" I asked, planning on smacking Beast Boy upside the head later. "You're still getting used to being a part of the team, and so far only Starfire has been willing to take the time to help you adjust."
Jynx and I blushed, "But we want to change that." Jynx walked forward and hugged her.
Starfire cheered, "Oh joy, it is time for the girl's night out!"
Jynx looked scared for a moment, then smirked, "Why not? Maybe some time out with the girls will turn that frown," she did a handstand, "Upside down!"
Dove laughed, a light bell like sound that made even me smile. Starfire cheered again, and promptly knocked something off Dove's desk in her excitement.
"Oh friend Dove I am sososososososososososo-" Dove cut her off.
"It's alright Starfire," she stood up, a graceful edge to her movements, and picked up a small notebook, "See it's fine."
Starfire tilted her head, "Friend Dove what is this?" she asked, her eyes scanning the still open page.
Dove blushed, "I-it's just a story I'm writing." she stated, "And please when we're not fighting crime call me Jade." her following smile just seemed to light up the room.
