Chapter 2

I woke up just before my alarm went off. I went to the shower and took my time because I have plenty of time to dress up before Abby arrive to pick me up. "You woke up on time today" mum said as I wanted to scared her from behind but like the hundred time I try, I failed but I am determined on making her surprise no matter what. I never knew how she does it though. Every time I asked her, she would always give me her sheepish smile.

"Hey mom, how do you do it?"

"Hmm"

"That knowing I am in the room without turning around."

"A magician would never reveal her secret"

"Mum, you do realise that your no magician, right?"

She faked surprise and said "how could you Rylie Honeylyn Summers"

I laughed and ate my breakfast. It's always mum and I here. Dad is really busy with his work. Traveling and stuff. I guess that's what it means by being an archaeologist. I love my dad but him being away from the family had made me wonder if he loves me at all.

"He does baby"

I look at my mum surprised and said "how did you-" a honk cut me before I could ask her.

"Better get going baby. Love you and don't forget your glasses again" I ran to the front door and grab my keys and glasses. "Love you mum. Bye"

"Morning sugar pie"

"Abs, what's with you and nicknames?"

"Damnit girl, do you realise that you break my heart when you say those kind of remark"

"Dramatic as well Abby"

"And I love you too, Ry"

Both of us laughed like crazy people. Well, it's only the 2 of us since we were in Abby's car so no one will give us some stupid look saying how stupid we laughed. As we entered the parking lot, there were few girls gather around at the car that was in front of Abby's car.

"What's going on?" I asked. She shrugged and both of us got out from the car. As I look up, I saw those pair of grey eyes were looking at me. Abby quickly pulled my hand and we left the parking lot.

"Abs? What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Her grip tightens.

"Arora Abigail Willson You better tell me what the fuck is wrong with you" I half yelled.

Abby flinched and said "You never call me Arora before"

"Don't change the damn subject. So, tell me what is wrong"

She sighed "I'm sorry but not now"

With that she walks to her locker. Something really was off with her today. She tries to cover it but I know something is wrong with her. Knowing Abby, I know that she will tell me eventually tell me what's wrong so I decided to let it go for now. I walk to my locker and took out my textbooks.

"Rylie" someone call from behind. I sighed knowing that it was stupid Josh. I turned around "Josh" I began to walk away from him but he caught up with me.

"Josh, you really should stay away from me."

"Ry, you know how much I like you, right?"

I sighed and said "and you know that I'll just reject you, right?"

"Ry, what happen with Adam won't happen with me."

I snored and said "You really are an idiot, you know that."

He grabs my hand and then I heard a loud growl. Wait. What? Growl? I look around and saw those pair of grey eyes looking at me and Josh. I ignored the new guy and tried to yank my hand from Josh.

"Josh Burn! What the Fudge are you doing to her!"

Josh and I look at a very angry/terrified Abby. Hah? Abby yank my hand from Josh's grip.

"You listen here Mister. You will never get her. She doesn't belong to you" Abby warn and with that she drags me away from Josh.

It's not that I couldn't defend myself or anything it's just that Abby always come at the right time. So, I guess she is somewhat my guardian.

"Abs? You ok?"

"I'm not you idiot! What will happen if Nate didn't stop him. He would have punched the hell out of Josh."

Ok that was weird. Who the heck is Nate and the who the Fish is He?

Abby calms herself down and said "sorry for the way I acted this morning. It's just that, never mind."

"Abs? I'm always here if you wanted to talk. I will never leave you."

She hugged me "this is why I love you" I nodded and chuckled.

It was history when I saw those pair of grey eyes again. They were staring like it could burn a hole into my head. He was sitting behind me and that really made me uncomfortable. Finally, I sighed and turn around.

"Is there something on my face because I swear you seriously could burn a hole on my head"

He was taken a back with what I say. He shook his head and say "No, there's nothing." I turned around and went back to my book.

Aidan

I was literally shock when she said that to me but I was kinda proud though.

"She makes a great Luna" Ace said.

I couldn't agree more. I wanted to talk to her but what Abby said seriously made an impact on my head. It was lunch break but I didn't feel like eating, so I went to the field and sat on the bleachers.

"Aid? Where are you?" Nate mind linked.

"Bleachers"

Few minutes later the boys were coming to where I was, to my surprise Abby was there with Nate. She was sending death glare at Nate and I. If looks can kill, I'm sure Nate and I would have already died. It was that scary. Yes, ha-ha the almighty Alpha is scared of a little girl, but this little girl is a fairy and fairy are known to be scary. Some fairies are small but some are like human. Nate was obviously enjoying being near his mate even though she is swearing at him.

"The little one wants to talk to you." Nate said

"Mind you wolf boy; I am not little." Abby reply.

Nate smirk and said "I can see that, love."

"There are children in this place guys, flirt later."

With that Nate and Abby stop doing whatever they were doing and stare at me.

"Proceed with what you wanted to say Abby." I stated using my alpha voice.
"Sorry about yesterday. It was really harsh for me to say that to you. I'm sorry."

I nodded.

"You see, Rylie had been my best friend since forever but I didn't tell her about me because I didn't want what happen 5 years ago to repeat itself." She continued.

5years ago? What happen to my lovely Rylie that time? I'm sure Abby noticed thatI was thinking about what happen because what she said made everyoneshock.
