I tired talking to Aidan, calling him and texting him but he just manages to ignore me. Stupid boy. Its Saturday now and I still didn't get my reply from Aidan. Derek came back on Thursday because Annie couldn't wait to see mum and I. I didn't go to school on Friday because Annie wanted us to go to the amusement park. She said (not I) that if we went there on weekend there are bound to have a lot of people and it would not be fun. You see what a genius my beloved niece is.

I am currently inside my room, deciding on what to wear since my beloved mother invited one of her friends to our house for dinner. I never liked any of my mother's friend. They are like those psychopaths looking for their next victim. Just thinking about them make me shiver. I took out all the dresses that mum bought for me, I'm never those kinds of girl who wear dresses but that doesn't stop mum from buying them for me.

"Honey, are you getting ready?" Mum call from downstairs.

"Yes mother." I sighed.

I hate, hate, hate dressing up. It's stupid. After 30 minutes of looking for the perfect dress, I decided to wear the floral printed dress. It was strapless and it was perfect I put on some mascara and lip gloss, since I don't like wearing to much of makeup. I decided to braid my hair sideways. I didn't wear my glasses since I'm at home and I'm not going to read. My eye sight is not that bad, it's just that I didn't want to keep taking them off when I'm at school, its bothersome. I put on my flat maroon flat shoe and went downstairs.

"You look really pretty honey." Mum said as soon as she saw me.

I smiled at her and helped her to set the table. After setting the table, I went to the living room and sat next to Annie.

"Mummy, you look really pretty."

"You look even more prettier than I, princess." And I kiss her cheek.

Suddenly the doorbell rang,

"Honey get that will you? It's my friend." Mum said.

I took a last look at myself from the mirror near our main door and open the door.

"Oh, my goodness. You have grown so much Rylie." The lady said.

She doesn't look old; she really was pretty. Brown hair and grey eyes, it was really pretty but not as pretty as Aidan's grey eyes. Shut up brain.

"Welcome Mrs..." I drag my sentence and she said "oh honey! Just call me Jade, Mrs Blake make me sound old." She laughed.

"And you are old stupid." Mum said coming out from the kitchen.

They both laughed and I saw that there were 3 other people behind her. An older gentleman, a little girl and a boy around my age. He was standing at their car, talking on the phone. He was facing back from our house and he seem awfully familiar.

"Honey" a tap on my shoulder from behind and I turned to see that Jade was the one that call me.

She smiles and said "why don't you go call him for me."

I look at her and nodded. I went outside. The guy was still facing back from me.

"No. It was a mistake Brittany. It won't happen again!" He sounded angry.

He put his phone inside his pocket and turned around. He almost knocked me down if I didn't step a few feet behind him.

"Aidan?"

"Rylie."

We were staring at each other. Neither of us wanted to break the eye contact.

"You know dinner is getting ready without you guys!" Jade yelled from the door.
