Chapter 8

Hearing those words from mum, hearing the truth about it. My mother was not normal, she is a werewolf. All those hearing my thoughts, knew that I was going to surprise her all those things happen because she is a werewolf. My own mother didn't even tell me. Her flesh and blood. After hearing what I shouldn't have listen, I ran away from home. I wanted to clear my head from all that information that I got.

I went to the park knowing that no one would be there. I sat on the swing to clear my head. When I was a kid, I use to see a beautiful lady, talking to me when I felt sad. She had always been there for me but that stop when I got into an accident. She never appeared in front of me again. I tried talking to mum about it but she just said that it was my imagination. When I didn't see the lady anymore, my heart when blank like she had just disappear from me. She was my friend, weird hah? Talking to a ghost and saying that she is my friend. She had a beautiful name though, Luna. That's right people, my spirit friend had a name.

"I see a pretty lady sitting on a swing, I and thought to myself, maybe I should introduce myself."

"Aidan."

He took the swing next to mine and we stayed silent. I hate being silent with Aidan but I just couldn't bring myself to say anything to him. After 10 minutes of silent, Aidan stood in front of me and took my hand.

I look at him and asked "you're like my mother, aren't you?"

He looked me in the eyes and nodded. I took a deep breath, trying to process whatever it is that I am able to process with my little brain.

"Can I see it?" Finally, I asked him.

He was taken a back with what I said.

"Babe, I don't think that you should, I mean-"

I cut him off "I want too Aid, Please?"

He looked me in the eyes, seeing that I really wanted to see it, he finally nodded.

He walked away a few feet from me and I started to hear bones breaking. As he shifted, I saw a big black dog, or should I say wolf. He was beautiful. His black and silver fur, I stood up and started walking towards him. I didn't know why but I knew he was attracting me. I stand in front of him, looking at those beautiful grey eyes, he sits in front of me and rested his head on his legs. Well, I assumed they were legs, since dog doesn't have hands. Aidan looked at me and nudged me with his nose wanting me to touch him. I started touching his head and he seem to enjoy it. I chuckled seeing him like that. He really is beautiful. Here I am, having a crush on this guy who turned out to be a werewolf.

"Ry?"

I turned around and saw Abby standing there with shock on her face.
"Abby. This is not-"

She gave me a smirk and said "I'm sooooo happy that I don't have to hide anything from you anymore, Ry."

She hugged me and started jumping around. I was still blank with everything. I looked at her and back at Aidan. When she stops jumping, I saw Nate with a pair of pants and a jumper. I turned around and saw that Aidan was already gone. Few minutes later Aidan came back with the clothes that Nate brought earlier.

"I still need some explanations." I looked at all of them.

They all nodded and we went back home.

Her mother ran after her, seeing her panic like that scared the life out of me. I manage to ran after her. She was shaking.

"I'll bring her back Claire. Don't worry." I told her.

She looked at me and gave me a squeeze.

"This time no more hiding. I'll tell her everything." I nodded.

"I'll take over,Aid." Ace said.

"Ok."

Ace's senses are much more powerful than mine, so I am sure he will be able to find her in no time at all and just like that, he found her at the park. Sitting at the swing.

"Let me talk to her." Ace said.

"Just don't say something stupid."

He rolled his eyes. Listening Ace talking to her and then hearing her wanted to see what we look like when we shifted, made us both happy. I took over and link minded Nate to bring my clothes as I didn't want to stand naked in front of my mate when I shifted back. Well, I do want her to see me naked but not now. I shifted in front of her and looking at her eyes fill with amazement made me happy. Even happier when she started to walk towards Ace. When she touches our head and chuckled, seeing how much we enjoyed it. She got surprised when Abby calls her. I knew Abby was over the moon, seeing that she didn't have to hide anything from Rylie anymore. I quickly shifted back and took the clothes that Nate brought for me.

Rylie looked at all of us and said "I still need some explanations."

We all nodded and went back to her house.

As we were walking, Rylie looked at me and said "your sister said something about me being your mate. What does that mean?"

"A mate is something like a soulmate. The one you spend your whole life with. For example, Abby and Nate. They are mate." I began to example.

"Like marriage, right? Husband and wife?" She asked.

"Yup but us werewolf, we need to mark our mate so that other mate less male wolf would stay away from our mate."

"Mark?"

"A mark is a bound between mates. They are special. See that thing on Abby's collar bone?"

Rylie looked at Abby and nodded.

"That's Nate's mark on her which would also mean that they would probably have sex soon because once a mate has been mark, it's something that is pleasurable for both of them."

She nodded and stayed silent for a while.

"Are we? You know, mates?" She asked shyly. I nodded and she was surprise.

"How do you choose your own mate? I mean why did you even choose me?"

"I didn't choose you baby. The Moon Goddess was the one who picked you for me and she did a pretty damn good job too, seeing that my mate is hot and pretty."

Rylie blushed and asked "How do you who your mate is?"

"I followed a certain scent. All mates are like that. A scent that can only detected by each other and that can attract both parties."

"So, what is my scent?"

"The most beautiful scent, honey and vanilla."

She looked at me, debating on what she is going to ask. She took a deep breath and asked "Are you going to mark me?"

"I won't force you baby. I'll wait until you're ready but I'm not sure about Ace though."

"Ace?"

"My wolf, you've meet him."

"Oh. His name is Ace." I nodded and look at her.
"I know it's hard to accept things for now but I promise you that I'll be with you no matter what."

She nodded and I kissed her forehead.

As we walked along theroad, Rylie's house was in sight. She sighed and I took her hand. I gave her areassured smile and we walk to her house.
