Chapter 6

Aidan

Hearing the story from Rylie seriously made my blood boiled. Ace was really angry as well. He seriously wants to kill that bastard who did it to our beautiful mate. Rylie told me to let it go but I sure as hell won't let it go. She is my everything, my world, the future Luna to our pack, the love of my life.

"Aidan." My mother called me.

I turned around and look at her sweet face.

"When are you bringing your lovely mate home?" She asked.

"Not yet mum, she's human. Do you how hard that is?"

She gave me a small smile. Mum knew about Rylie from day 1 because some of my stupid friend went ahead and told her everything. Those stupid guys.

"Ohhh!! My friend invited me to her house this Saturday, her son is coming home and she wanted me there."

"Ok? So?"

"Let's go honey, I just told your father and he said ok."

I groaned and I nodded my head. I hate family dinner with one of mom's friend.

They are, how do you say it in a polite way, again? Psycho. Yup. That's the word that I can use to refer her friends.

"You'd been awfully quiet today." I mind linked Ace.

Ever since what Rylie had told us earlier in the evening, Ace had been quiet, there was no nasty remarks from him.

"It's nothing, go to sleep, Aidan." With that he shut down our mind link. Ace don't usually do this to me. The one time he did, he didn't talk to me for a month. This happen because of Sam. Sam was 1 of my close friends, we dated for a while but things just didn't go so well between us. Ace hated the fact that we were together with another she-wolf but I was a hormonal teenager so he couldn't blame me. Lame excuse, I know.

The next morning, I went to school like normal and I saw Rylie. It really brought out my smile seeing her. She was with the guys and Abby. Nate had his arms around Abby's waist and he was sniffing her scent, I guess. Abby on the other hand wanted Nate to release her. She gave Rylie a pleading look but she ignored her and continue talking to Jordan and Nick.

"Oh come Ry. Are you that angry at me?" Abby asked.

"Why I don't know dearest Arora. Something major happen and I decided to kept it a secret from my best friend/girl crush." Rylie answered.

"I'm sorry ok. I just didn't know how to tell you about it. We were planning on telling though."

Rylie look at her and said "so this is for getting back at me, hah?"

Abby looked guilty but said nothing.
"Hey guys." I called out seeing that it really was awkward. Rylie and Abby didn't even look at me.

I snake my arms around her waist and whispered "hey babe."

She ignored me and asked Abby "you didn't answer my question Arora. I thought we were best friend."

Both of them were about to cry. Nate started to panic seeing that because of his relationship with Abby, her friendship with Rylie was going to be broken.

"Look Ry. I'm sorry, it's not Abby's fault. Its-" Rylie look at him and he saw tears on her eyes. Nate was frustrated, he didn't know what to do. He looks at me and I guess I have to help him.

"Ry, babe. It's really not their fault. They wanted to tell you but-."

Rylie sniffed and that made me stop talking.

"Rylie, let's stop this." Abby said.

"But Abbs, it was just getting good." Rylie said and laughed.

The boys looked at them, shock, surprised.

"The look on your faces. Gosh! They are to die for." Abby started laughing.

"Got them good, Abbs." Rylie said and high five Abby.

"Wait you guys were-" Nick said. The girls nodded.

"And the whole things were-" Jordan said. They nodded again.

Nate took Abby's hand and said "you really got me good there, Princess."

Abby smirk at him.

"Hurt her and I'll kill you Nathan." Rylie told him and gave him a sweet evil smile.

"See what I mean." Abby whispered to Nate.

Since I'm a werewolf, I could hear what they were whispering about. Nate gulped and nodded at Rylie.

"That was some acting, babe." I said to Rylie. She looks at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Babe? Really now?"

"Well-" I took her hand and took her outside.

"I kinda, umm no I like you, Rylie. I really do and I know that we just meet and-"

she put her finger on my mouth and said "let's get to know each other first, Aid. Sounds good?"

I nodded.

She really is a great. Different and I like different. She took my hand and the spark came.

"Impress her, Aid." Was the last thing I heard from Ace. I guess he approve.

And my crush like me. Oh my Gosh!!! It was like a real dream come true. This thing that always happen in stories not real life. I was really over the moon when he said that to me. I had told Abby that I had a tiny crush on Aidan and she gave me her smirk. I think she approve of Aidan. There are so many things that I had to discover about Aidan and I guess, I just had to find out. I wanted to tell Abby about what Aidan had told me but I guess it can wait since the 6 of us are currently together. We were walking towards the parking lot, since I always car pool with Abby, I had to follow her. As we were walking, a figure all too familiar was standing next to Abby's car.

"Mummy!!!"

And I knew who that was. I ran and pick her up.

"I missed you so much baby." I said and kissed her cheeks.

When I put her down, I looked at Derek and there was a huge grin on his face. I hugged him and he started to pick me up and twirled me around. I was laughing, when he put me down, he kissed my cheeks.

"I miss you, sunshine."

I heard a loud growl. I turned around looking at an angry Aidan. What is going on with that guy. Every time a guy come near me; he would look like he is about to kill someone. I see that Abby was trying to calm him down but it was no use, Aidan was already in his car and drove out from school.

"Guys, my brother is going to send me home, see you tomorrow." I said and wave them goodbye.

"Talk to Aidan, Ry." It was a text from Nate.

Something must have happened with Aidan.

"I will. Don't worry about it." I replied him and I really want to know why would he get angry every time I was with a guy. I mean I get it that he likes me but that doesn't mean that he should act like that. That boy really is weird but I like weird.
