Chapter 3

Aidan

"Her mother is half werewolf." That's what Abby said.

"Is she?" Nick asked

Abby shook her head and said "Her mother never expect her child to be a werewolf, because her father is human but she wanted to tell Rylie the truth so she decided to bring Rylie's grandfather and tell her the truth. Rylie was shock and she ran away from home. She was scared of her own family. On the night she ran, she got into an accident and that almost killed her."

My eyes when wide hearing that she was almost killed.

"Rylie was in a coma for 3 months and lost her memory about that night."

"Memory lost?" Jordan asked.

"My mother is a fairy; Jordan and she is really close with Rylie's mum. So, when Claire asked my mother to help her make Rylie forgot about that night so that her daughter wouldn't suffer with the nightmare anymore, my mother gladly did it."

With all the new information that was thrown to me, I was starting to doubt that my beautiful mate would even want to be with me.

"I should be going now; Rylie is looking for me. Oh, and Alpha-."

I cut her saying "Aidan would do."

Abby nodded and replied "Aidan, I know how important it is to have your mate by your side. My advice is that take it slow with Rylie and I'm sure she will be able to accept us seeing that we are all supernatural being here."

With that she left our little group and went back to Rylie. I was determined on making Rylie mine but after what Abby had told us, I was afraid that she would reject me if she found out who or what I am. I ran my hand to my head knowing that I am very frustrated with the whole thing.

"Aidan, you should try to let her get to know you first then you tell her the truth." Nate suggested. He was right, I should at least try being friends with her and I'm an alpha for Goodness sake, I shouldn't be a coward about it. Dear Mate, I'm coming for you.

Rylie

Abby really is running late and lunch break is almost over. Abby couldn't go a day without food or she'll go hulk on everyone. I bought her some food and texted her.

"I'm waiting at your locker."

"Okayyyy, see you Ry." She replied.

So here I am being a mother to the most annoying yet love best friend.

"Ry!!!!" Abby yelled. She ran to my place and hugged me.

"I smell food." She grinned and took my bag. After getting her lunch out from my bag, she started munching it.

"Oh thank you Rylie for this, oh its ok love, I knew that you would be starving anyway." I started talking to myself. Abby laughed at my reaction.

"Hey, baby." Someone calls Abby from behind. I look at Abby and she almost choke her food. I look behind Abby and saw a well build guy. He smirks at Abby's reaction and snake his hand around Abby's waist. Then I realise who the guy is, he was with grey eyes the other day at the cafeteria and as if it was cue, the whole gang came to our place.

"Ry... Water." Abby started coughing. I grab a water bottle from my bag and handed it to her. Abby quickly drank the water and glare at the guy.

"Abby, is there anything you would love to tell me?" I asked sweetly.

She got tense, great. "W-what, t-th-thres no-nothing to t-tell." She shuttered.

Every time I know something is going on, I would ask Abby sweetly and then she would shutter like there's no tomorrow.

"Shit." She mumbles. "Hey no cursing." The guy said.

"Introduce us." I said to Abby.

She sighed "Nate, Rylie. Rylie, Nate."

Ah! This is the Nate she was talking about earlier. I nodded and Nate pull me into a hug. Weird guy.

"And these are my friends, Jordan, Nick and Aidan." He pointed. So, the grey eyes are Aidan.

"Hai." Grey eyes, no, Aidan said. I didn't notice it earlier, but his voice really does sound sexy.

"Hai there." I replied giving him a smile.

"About earlier, I'm sorry that I was staring at you. I'm sure you found it so creepy."

"I really did feel that."

He laughed "You don't beat around the bushes, do you?"

"Nah, I rather say what comes into my head."

"Let's start again, I'm Aidan Blake."

"Rylie Summers. Nice to meet you Mr. Blake." That made the both of us laughed like crazy people.

"Mind if become your friend, Miss Summers?"

"I would gladly become your friend, Mr. Blake."

"I swear, the only person who can stand her when she talks that way is you." Abby said with a disgust look plastered on her face.

"Hate to ruin this thing that the both of you are doing, but I'm pretty sure that class started 10 minutes ago." Jordan said.

All of us started walkingfast to our class. I guess Aidan isn't as bad as it seems.
