Chapter 9

Here I am sitting in the dining room with Aidan, Abby, Nate, my mother and Derek. Aidan's parent went home earlier to give us privacy. Even though Jade wanted to stay. His father practically drags her out from our house.

I took a deep breath and said "are you going to say anything?"

"Babe." Aidan said with a warning tone. Yes everyone, he is warning me not to be rude to my mother.

I sighed. He was right, I shouldn't be rude to my mother but he had to know that I felt betrayed by my own mother.

"I did try to tell you and what happen? You got into an accident. I hated the fact that I couldn't tell you." She sighed.

I looked at her and saw that her eyes were fill with tears. Derek holds her shoulder and squeezed it.

"So, the accident when I was 13 was because of..."

Mum nodded. After that, she explains everything to me, how she asked Abby's mother to erased my memory about the night of the accident. Then, I found out that Abby is a fairy, cute.

"So Abbs, you have wings?" I asked trying hard not to laugh.

"Shut up and no. We are not those low-class fairies that have wings." She replied.

I remember Abby had always hated to see any movie that have fairy in them. Since all the fairy in the movie have wings and I guess I know why now.

"It will be a while to accept everything but I'll try to accept it one by one." I told them. Mum seem relieved seeing that I will at least try to accept things.

"So, we still need to discuss this whole mate thing, Aidan." I said as we were in front of the house. Abby and Nate are inside giving us some privacy.

"Can we start as boyfriend girlfriend? You know so that we can get to know each other better before I mark you. And I won't force you. It will be your decision when you want me to mark you." He was nervous, which is kind of cute.

I took his hand and looked him in the eyes. "I like that idea, Mr. Blake."

"You really are amazing, Miss Summers." He kissed my cheeks and chuckled.

"And that's not how you kiss your girlfriend/mate, Mr. Blake."

With that I hold both of his cheeks and crash my lips with his. It was like firework, our mouth moving in sync. Both of us let go and he put his forehead on mine. Both of us were gasping for air. I closed my eyes and put my hands on his neck for support.

"I could kiss you all day without getting bored."

"I like you, Aid. I really do but-"

He cut me and said "I will be possessive over you when guys talk to you. My anger would be a problem for us both and you would want to run away from me for some time but I promise you this, Rylie Summers, I will never lay my hand on you. I will love you, care for you and cherish you, baby."

I looked at his eyes, they were filled with sincerity. I knew he was different and I am happy that he is mine.

"So, you won't hug me, hold my hands or cuddle with me?" I teased him.

"Babe." He said with a warning voice.

I laughed and said "you Mr. Blake are a keeper."

"I should say the same thing about you, Miss Summers." And he kissed me again.

"They are so made for each other." Aidan groaned and we both looked at Abby and my mother. I was so embarrassed that my own mother was looking at me kissing my boyfriend.

"Don't groan at me young man. You still need my blessing for your marriage later." Mum teased him. Aidan looked at me blushing like a crazy.

"Mum!"

"And dearest Aidan, I have an alpha blood on me, you being Alpha doesn't scare me for one bit." My mother, ladies and gentlemen can be a child sometime.

"Alpha?" I asked Aidan.

"I'm an Alpha to the Silver Blood pack." He told me with a proud tone.

"Silver Blood pack is the strongest pack in this country, the pack is scared by many." Nate said as he came out from the house.

"Hate to disturb you guys, but I need to kidnap my Alpha from you Luna." He continued. Both of them looked at each other and Aidan nodded at him.

"Abby will explain everything to you babe. I have to go."

I knew from the look at his face that something is wrong but I didn't want to push him to tell, so I'll wait for him to tell me.

"Be safe." He nodded and kiss my forehead.

Little did I know that trouble was going to happen.
