I woke up the next morning, after many hours of sleep and the desire to inspect the rest of the room awoke.

The first thing I did was to get in the bathroom to take a shower.

It was so big. It had a Jacuzzi and a shower. It was really fancy and looked it had been built recently. It also had a large mirror and marble sinks. Everything I may need was already in the cupboards under the sink.

While I was in the shower, I heard someone enter the room, opening the closet.

''Who's there?''

''Don't worry, Layla. It's me, Ian. I came to leave you some clothes.''

''Oh, thanks!''

After Ian had left, I got out of the bathroom and I opened the closet, to see what Ian had brought me.

As soon as I opened it, I saw that it was full of expensive, formal dresses. There were mostly long gowns, but he had also left me some more teenie – like dresses.

The simplest clothing item I found was a short, tight blue dress, with lace on the shoulders and arms. It was really uncomfortable and I immediately wished I had Kate's casual flower dress.

Thank God there were some flat shoes, so I did not have to wear high heels.

I looked at the mirror and it felt like seeing a stranger. The girl I saw in the mirror was not me, the old Layla, but a newer version of her.

I got out of the room, without knowing where to go to. Luckily, there was Ian standing in the corridor, waiting for me.

''I thought that it's better if we go downstairs together because I know how easy it is to get lost in such a big house.''

While we were heading downstairs, I heard someone scream.

''What was that?'', I asked scared.

''What? I didn't hear something.'', he said, looking tense.

''I heard a scream.''

''You must've misheard.'', answered me abruptly and we continued.

We entered a big room that was the dinning room, where everyone was sitting. They got up as soon as they saw me.

On the center was Isla standing.

''Good morning, sweetheart. I hope you slept well.''

''Yes, thanks.'', I answered her a bit shyly.

''You don't have to be shy around me. We are all a family now!'', she said, smiling at me.

''It's time you meet the rest of our group. Guys, this is Layla. She's our newest member and you have to treat her appropriately. Layla, this is your new family. Luke, Gabriella and Isabella and Ian, who you've already met. Let's sit down and have breakfast.'', Isla said and we sat on the table.

Our meal consisted of blood. What else? The blood was served in a glass.

I was observing everyone, while we were eating.

Luke was a man, around Ian's age. He had tawny, curly hair and honey eyes. What stood out the most was the scar on his right eye. I guess that it was caused from a battle against werewolves.

I started looking at the twins, now. They were laughing and kept nodding at each other, without saying a word.

Luke saw that I was staring at the twins curiously and he explained to me:
