Trapped between two lifes

Chapter 6

Without losing any more time, we headed  towards the house of my  old pack.

The vampires were leading the way. Luke had called some of his trusted friends as backup. The vampires outnumbered the werewolves. They were 20 in total.

It looks like they already saw us from their window and so they came out. Elian seemed outraged. Beside him was his wife, Grace and Jordan, who looked tensed. Lauren, Jordan's sister, was missing, so I assumed that she was away because of her studies. She was already coming and going, since I was in the pack.

'Evening. We have friendly intentions. We don't want to cause a scene, but the truth is that you have caused a lot of trouble. The fire is an incident we cannot look past. We've signed the peace treaty with Ethen's pack and we will not allow anyone to endanger it. You are not wanted here! Either you get out of here or we will throw you out by force.'said Luke and smiled dangerously, showing his fangs. His clan followed his example.

'So your intentions are not that friendly after all. We are not responsible for the fire! No one is going to force us to go away. You don't scare us bloodsuckers.'announced Elian and they all showed their stakes threateningly. He was the first to attack Luke.

No one expected them to actually go against the vampires.

An unexpected battle began.

The vampires managed to quickly surround the pack.

However, Elian and the rest did not lose their courrage and started making small attacks against the vampires.

Sudedenly one vampire kicked Jordan's stack from his hands and immobilized him on the ground.

Grace rushed to help him, but the vampire let out an inarticulated hiss that made her stand back.

The rest of us were hidden, under Luke's order.

I just wanted get out of this hiding spot and stop the madness that is taking place.

Out of the sudden, I heard Cora shouting 'LUKE!' and run with an inhuman speed towards him.

Elian had wounded Luke with his stack and he had fallen on the ground. The pain was written all over his face. 

Cora then attacked Elian and scratched his face very hard. He let out a scream of pain and got angrier, so he took her hair and dragged her with force through the ground. Luke tried to help her, but Jordan got in the way and started hitting him. The twins run towards him to defend Luke and injured Jordan's side.

The situation had gotten out of hand.

Ethen ,finally, showed himself and shouted 'STOP!!'and let out a loud growl.

Eventually, we all came out of our hiding spot, Vincent, Ronan and Emma, Adam and me.

Kate stayed at home, due to her pregnancy, even if it requiered a lot of convincing and effort to accomplish that.

'Elian your attitude is unacceptable! I will tell this for the last time, you will get the hell out of here or I'll make your life a living hell.'

'And I will tell you again Ethen that we either get layla back and then leave or stay here forever.'

'As long as I live that's never going to happen.'Ethen told him and they stood face to face. Luke had started feeling better, got up and said

'Get back! Elian, don't even think for a second that we are done here. We'll let you have this time. Next time I'll come with twice the amount of vampires you saw today and we'll make you pay for what you've done.'

I really thought that things would be setteld today and that they would lesve in peace.

However, it seems that the real battle has just began...
