Peridot's POV

     The bell finally rings dismissing the room from the hell known as history class. I begin walking to the library to eat lunch when I remembered that I was actually invited to sit with another human in the chaos pit known as the cafeteria. I make my way over, the moment I walk in a burst of rotten food and sweaty teens flows into my nostrils. My face automatically scrunches up but I continue to walk around, scanning the tables for the girl who saved me from a beating. I think her name was Crimson? I don't know something like that.

     I see her waving at me from the back corner of the room, a few other people sitting at the table as well. I quietly walk over and sit down next to Crimson. She smiles at me as I sit.

     "Ey 'Dot you came! Welcome to the meme table!" Crimson threw her arms in the air doing jazz hands. I cringe slightly at the nickname.

"Uh, thanks I guess."

"Oh by the way, this is Obsidian, Sunstone, and Moonstone."

     She gesture to each as she said their names. Obsidian had black hair with purple streaks, yellow eyes, Sunstone had amber like hair with hazel, almost orange eyes and Moonstone had dyed light blue hair and blue eyes. They all waved slight giving small 'Yo's and 'welcome to dank hell'. I gave a slight wave back. The four went on some random conversation on what I believe was about some test in English. Wanting to escape the hell of reality and today's events so far, I place on my headphones and pressed Shuffle on my music. Music is one of, if not, the only thing that keeps me sane in this world. I hear the electric guitar start as all the other instruments begin to join in.

Well that girl can turn a head

She's such a threat

And don't ever forget

She knows it

     I instantly press skip on my phone, waiting for the next song to play. While that is one of my favorite songs, it's only reminding me of what's happened so far today. At the least remind me of a certain bluenette that's been on my nerves.

     "What's got you annoyed?" I look over to see Crimson with a slight smirk, but still seeming curious. I just shrug off her question and continue listening to my music. Well, at least tried since Crimson began nudging me with her arm. "C'mon you can tell us." I just stayed slightly, trying to ignore her, trying being the keyword.

"It's really none of your business Crimson." I shoot her a glare, hoping she'll back off.

     She eventually stopped, going back to the conversation at hand. I started to listen in on it, at least until the bell rang quiet obnoxiously, enough to make Obsidian jump slightly.

     "They need to quiet that shit down before they give someone a heart attack!" Everyone got up and left, quietly saying goodbyes to each other. I won't lie; it was kinda nice to not sitting alone at lunch for once.

Maybe this year won't be so bad.

A/N

'I'll make a schedule' they said. 'I'll update every 3 to 5 days' they said. Yeah it's been a while hehe..... What's up my smol gems? I literally have no excuse for not having a chapter up in I want to say around a month and I don't seeing my "update schedule" becoming more accurate since school is a bitch. So yeah... I am extremely sorry about that. It's mainly just been writers block and motivation to write, and recently I've just been ungodly pissed about past and current events in my life. It also doesn't help that the first chapter I post is basically more of a filler one. Don't worry the story is definitely NOT ending if that's what you're thinking (plus it's only been like 6 chapters).
