Iroh was asleep in his bed in the Fire Nation palace. Zuko sat in his room, staring down at a letter from Katara. They had arrived at the Burrow, and were wondering when he would come and join them. He began to write a reply, when he heard a noise.

He stood up and, and said into the darkness "Uncle?" There was no answer. Zuko threw a robe around himself, as he raised his hands, and stepped forward. He entered the long hall outside of his room, as the moonlight shined down upon him.

"Who's there?" he called out. The glass broke, and three people lunged in, swords drawn. They swiped at him, but he threw fire all around, sending them away. There was a flash of lightning, and Zuko jumped back. He looked up, and saw Azula there, with Ozai, and a man with snakelike features. Azula lunged forward, and as Zuko went to attack, a jet of red light met his face, and he fell back, unconscious.

Iroh ran in, looking wild. "ZUKO! NO!" He shot lightning forward, but Voldemort raised his wand, and the lightning disappeared. There was another jet of light, and Iroh fell. "Death Eaters" said Voldemort. "Take the boy. Azula, modify your Uncle's memory. I would kill him, but the wand has bonded to him. The plan will be useless if he's dead." "How are we supposed to turn the Avatar?" Ozai asked. "It is simple" said Voldemort. "That is why we are taking your son. He is the key." Suddenly, there was a pop, and Iroh was alone, as the windows were repaired. Zuko was gone.
