When Aang awoke the next day, it was as if he had entered a whole new world. The mood in the castle was somber, his body ached, and even Sokka stopped cracking jokes. The gaang took Harry and Aang out of the Hospital Wing and began to lead them down to breakfast, when Mr. and Mrs. Diggory arrived. Mr. Diggory had tears in his eyes, but Mrs. Diggory kept her composure.

"We wanted to thank you for returning his body" she said, as Mr. Diggory nodded. "From what Professor Dumbledore aid, he suffered very little...and after all, he died when he'd just won the tournament. He must have been happy." "He was" said Harry, giving her a smile. "You look after yourselves" said Mrs. Diggory, as she and Mr. Diggory went to leave.

Harry looked at Aang, before gesturing towards the sacks of gold. Aang nodded, and Harry said "We want you to have these. They should've been Cedric's. He got there first-" "Oh, no" she said. "They're yours. You've earned them." She then backed off, as Toph said "Don't get rid of your gold. We'll need that eventually."

Harry and Aang could not bear going to breakfast after the encounter with the Diggory's, so they, Mariko, and Li travelled outside to the grounds. They walked around for a bit, not talking much, but as they reached the Quidditch Pitch, they saw Yukio standing by, looking up at the hedge. Aang looked to the others, before stepping over.

"Hi" said Aang, approaching. Yukio looked over, and said "Listen, Aang, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to attack you last night." "It's fine" said Aang. "You were confused by the boggart. You weren't thinking right." Yukio looked at Aang, and simply nodded. Aang sighed, as Yukio said "D'you remember when I told you Ty Lee was acting weird?" "Yeah" said Aang. "Well" said Yukio. "She found out about Mai...or the Princess...she didn't know what to do, but she told me this morning." Aang nodded, as Yukio said "Mai is Ty Lee's best friend. If she's gone, what happened to her?" Aang shook his head, and said "I don't know."

They returned to Gryffindor Tower a few hours later, where they joined the others around the extinguished fireplace. "Dumbledore spoke to the school" said Bao, as they took seats. "He told us not to bother any of you about what happened, especially Aang and Harry." "Well, people were whispering when we were coming up" said Aang. "They probably believe Rita's articles." "Well, that doesn't matter" said Katara. "It'll die down eventually."

"I just want to know what's going on outside" said Sokka. "I want to know where dad is." "He's with Iroh and Zuko" said Katara. "They're doing work for Dumbledore. They'll be fine." "I want to know where the others have gone" said Aang. "I want to be with dad" said Sokka. "No offense, Ron, but I don't want to be at your place all summer."

"Speaking of which" said Ron. "Harry, Mum went to Dumbledore. She wanted to see if you could come back with us this summer, but he's sending you to the Dursleys." "Why?" Harry asked. "She said he's got reasons" said Ron. "I suppose we have to trust him."

On their next free Defense Against the Dark Arts class, since they know longer had a teacher, they headed don to Hagrid's hut, where he greeted them brightly. "Welcome" he said. He spotted Mariko and Li, and said "I don' believe we've really encountered. I'm Hagrid!" They shook his gigantic hand, as they all squeezed inside of the small cabin.

"Bin havin' a cuppa tea with Olympe" said Hagrid. "She jus' left." "Who?" Sokka asked. "Madame Maxime, o' course!" said hagrid. "Oh" said Ron. "So, you've made up?" "Dunno what yeh're talkin' about" said Hagrid, pouring tea into their cups. He then looked towards Aang and harry. "You all righ'?" "Yeah" said Harry. "No yeh're not" said Hagrid. "Both o' yeh can't be after las' night. But, it'll get be'er."
