Maddie's POV

Ash and I were watching The Internship on Netflix and he decided to go make tea. I had the blanket wadded up in my hands and pull up under my chin my eyes focused on Dylan O'Brien. "Babe I forgot, did you want vanilla or peppermint?" He called. I was so engulfed in Dylan wearing a beanie and glasses that I didn't hear Ashton, then Dylan said something funny and I let out a loud laugh. Ash glanced at me from the kitchen then looked away quickly. I watched for a few more minutes then realised Ash hadn't come back, "Bear??" I asked, no response. I paused the movie and got up wrapping the blanket around me and padded into the kitchen. Ash was sitting at the bar with both the tea mugs, I could tell he was upset by the way his head was ducked. I walked over and sat in his lap. He didn't say anything but wrapped and arm around me to keep me from slipping."What happened?" I laid my head on his shoulder and he took a deep breath. "Is Dylan O'Brien funnier than me??" "Bear!!!!" I giggled, "No one could make me laugh like you..." I kissed his cheek, "besides I'd never date Dylan." I picked up my tea and took a sip. "Why??" He asked finally looking at me. "I much prefer drummers." He smiled and tightened his grip around my waist. "Oh and babe!" I added quickly looking into my tea mug, "I wanted vanilla..." He groaned and looked at me, "I gave you peppermint didn't I??" He asked. I nodded and giggled. He kissed me softly and said, "Get up I gotta make you another tea..." He slid out from under me and got another mug making another tea. "Ash??" I asked. "What beautiful??" He asked propping himself against the counter. "Can Lukey come over???" I asked. He laughed at me, "Yes sunshine..." He kissed my forehead. I texted Annie and Luke telling them to come over then after about 20 seconds of thinking I texted Calum and Michael too. Shortly later Luke rang our doorbell and I ran and opened the door hugging him. I pushed him inside then pulled Annie in and closed the door. Ash and Luke did that weird fist-bump-high-five thing guys do and Luke sat down. A couple minutes later when Cal and Mikey rang the doorbell Ash looked at me confused. "Who is that??" "Uhhh Cal and Mikey!!" I ran and opened the door. Cal hugged me and kissed my cheek, "Hi sissy!!! You look pretty!!" I laughed at his comment, I was wearing sweat pants and one of Ashton's tshirts. I walked up stairs and changed into my pjs quickly and walked back downstairs to Ash, Cal, and Luke with no shirts on. "Is there a reason you don't have a shirt on bear?" "Well Lucas spilt tea on me!! So I took it off!" "Is it so far away that you can't walk into our room and put another shirt on??" He got up mumbling under his breath. "What about you Lucas?!" He shurgged. "Well Ashton took his off so I took mine off!" "I'm guessing yours is off for the same reason Cal??" He smiled and nodded. I sighed and walked into mine and Ashton's room where Ash was standing in the doorway of our closet. I pushed around him and grabbed Luke's shirt he left here and Calum's that he left. "Babe you're wearing my shirt!" Ash complained."Yeah so?" "I wanna wear it!!" I smacked his arm, "Quit being a baby!!!" He pouted. I pressed my lips on his quickly and pulled away, "Still wanna complain???" He smiled and shook his head grabbing a different shirt. He followed me down the stairs and I threw Luke's and Cal's shirts at them and sat on the couch with Ashton. He laid his arm across the back of the couch and I laid my head on his chest as the movie started again. "He is yummy!!" Annie said looking at Dylan. "I know right!!!" I laughed. I watched Ash clench his jaw and tighten his grip around me. Niall came over maybe 45 minutes later. As the movie rolled on I laid my head on Ashton's chest and closed my eyes. The guys must've thought I was asleep because they started talking about me. "You know Harry may have said he's given up on her but he hasn't and never will." Niall said. I felt Ashton's eyes on me. "You better keep her close." Luke said. I felt Luke sit next to me. I couldn't take it any longer, I opened my eyes and sat up rubbing them like I just woke up. "Did you have a nice nap?" Ash asked pushing some hair out of my face. I nodded and softly, sleepily, kissed him. I pressed my lips to his ear and whispered, "I never fell asleep I heard the whole conversation about me..." I ran his fingers through his hair, "Really??" I nodded. "What??" Luke asked confused. "I never fell asleep..." His jaw slackened, "Oh..." Ash pulled me into his lap and laid his cheek against my back. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you, too, Bear." "Awwwwwwww!!" Everyone cooed collectively. I felt my cheeks get hot.
