Maddie's POV

"Ow..." I whined putting my hand over the side of my nose after I'd sneezed. I heard the boys walking down the hall towards the hotel room. " Shit..." I mumbled leaving my hand on my nose. The door opened revealing Calum, Luke, Michael, and Ashton. "Hey babe!" Ashton smiled revealing his dimples. "Hi bear!" I responded pretending I didn't have my hand on my face. " Hi sissy." Cal smiled not even looking at me. "What's up you little shit??" Michael yelled. "Oh... not much..." I nervously laughed. "Is everything alright Maddie?" Luke asked sweetly. "Yeahhh..." I smiled. "Then why is your hand on your face?" Calum asked finally looking at me. "What're you talking about?" I tried to cover. They all walked over to me and stood around me. "Babe, move your hand." Ashton smiled. I shook my head and he tried to pull it away but I wasn't budging. He sighed and looked at the guys, it was like they could read his mind!! They all nodded and at the same time started tickling the crap out of me. "GUUYYSS!!!!!!! S-SSTTOOPP!!!!!!!" I yelled through laughter. I pulled my hand away from my face to attempt to pry their hands off me and a second after it moved they all stopped dead. They all just stared at my nose where a single stud stuck out of the side. Ashton shared a look with Calum then looked back to me and stared at my nose again. He poked the piercing and jolted back quickly like it hurt him. "What, Bear?" I asked concerned. He scrunched his nose before opening his mouth and saying, "How the hell do you blow your nose with that thing?!" My worried looked formed into a smile and I laughed at Ashton. "Maddie why did you get that thing stabbed into your beautiful little nose?" Calum frowned. "Because I wanted it there?" I smiled. "I think it's hot." Ashton smirked. "Agreed," Michael and Luke said in unison. "Very hot." Luke added. "Thank you, Luke." I laughed. "Can we go outside?" I whined. "Actually no." Luke responded. "What?" I asked. "That's where we just were, the tour managers said that we're not allowed to leave the hotel room." Ashton said. I groaned. "But we could always sneak out??" Calum suggested. I thought for a second, "We should." "What?" Ashton looked surprised. "We should sneak out." I repeated. "Wow, you get a nose piercing and all of a sudden you go cray cray!!" Michael yelled. I laughed, "No, I've never really been a goody goody. I've always gotten in trouble in school, at home, and anywhere really. I got kicked out of walmart once for riding one of the bikes around the store saying fuck you to everyone." Everyone looked at Calum, as if to ask, 'Really?' Cal nodded, "It's true it was actually us doing that not just you Maddie." I nodded, "Right, Cal and I did it together!" Everyone laughed. "Can we please just sneak out this is boring?!" "Maddie, we really shouldn't we could get kicked off the tour." Luke said. I nodded and walked over to the window. Since we were in one of those fancy hotels there was a window seat looking out onto the city. I sat on the seat and pulled my knees to my chest. Behind me I heard whispered arguing, something about who's fault it was and something else about who should apologise ending with Ashton's name was all I got. I pressed my cheek against my thighs and looked out the window as someone sat next to me. Figuring it was Ashton I waited a minute then, feeling his eyes on me, looked at him. "Hey beautiful..." He smiled. "Hi bear..." I sighed. I moved closer to him and crossed my legs, laying my forehead on his shoulder."Do you really wanna sneak out?" He asked, wrapping his arm around me. I nodded, "Yes Bear." "Alright go get dressed." I looked up at him with my mouth wide open, "REALLY?!" He smiled and nodded. I looked at the other guys and Luke had his eyebrow raised at Ashton, while Calum held his arms out to his sides as if to say, 'What the hell?!' I got up and started to walk to mine and Ashton's room when Luke started talking, "Fine I guess will have to do our cover of Girls without you two." I stopped dead and turned, "What?" "We're doing a cover of Girls by The 1975." Cal smiled. "We're staying then." I said sternly. Luke smiled, he'd been planning this. "What're we waiting for? Get your shit and let's do this thing!!" I yelled. Luke and Michael got their guitars and Ashton got his weird box thing. I was setting up the camera for them and I started to sing the chorus of Girls. "But she can't be what you need if she's 17, they're just girls." "Maddie you should sing with us." Luke's voice was extremely close to me and I jumped. "What?" I asked, trying to regain my composer. "You're really good and I know this is your favourite song so you should sing with us." He smiled. "No, I don't wanna get in your way..." My voice trailed off. "Get in our way?! Maddie we really need you you're the only one of the five of us who can sing the verses. He sings to fucking fast..." He mumbled the last part and I laughed. "Fine, but I have to go change then." I smiled. Luke nodded, "Go ahead. I'll finish the camera." He pointed at the thing in my hand. I set it in his hand and kissed his cheek softly, "Thanks Lucas." He touched his free hand to his cheek and looked at me. "Don't hurt yourself big boy." I patted his chest and walked around him. I looked back at him and he was still standing there with his hand on his cheek. When I turned back I ran into Ashton's chest. "Oh. Hey bear." I laughed. "Where ya going gorgeous??" He smiled, kissing my forehead. "Luke wants me to sing with you guys on this cover and I'm gonna go change." He nodded, looking over my shoulder, "What the hell did you do to Luke?" I glanced at him and giggled, "I'm not really sure..." He smiled, "Go get really, babe." I got on my tiptoes and pecked his lips, "Be right back, Bear." I walked around him and into our room, closing the door behind me. I quickly pulled in my tribal printed tights, Ashton's white Ramones shirt, and my black Uggs. I turned my straightener on and did my make up as it heated up. After straightening my hair I pulled on my black beanie and walked out. The guys were all on the couch waiting for me. "Whoa..." Ash gasped when our eyes met. "Ummm...thanks? I think?" "Yes it was a compliment." Ash laughed. I smiled and shook my head walking behind the camera, "You guys ready??" They all nodded and I hit the record button and mouthed, 'Go.' From right to left they were siting Calum, Michael, Luke, and Ashton. "I'm Calum." Cal smiled. "I'm Michael." "I'm Calum." Luke said. I laughed and pointed at him, "No, no. You're Luke." He nodded, "Oh yeah." "And I'm Ashton." "Or bear." I said. "Yeah or bear, she calls me bear. You can also call me sexy, Maddie calls me that too." I laughed, "No I fucking don't!!" The guys laughed and looked at him. I sat down next to him, "I'm sorry, Bear." I ran my fingers through his hair. He wrapped his long fingers around my wrist and looked at me, "I love you." I smiled, "I love you, more." We leaned towards each other and our lips met. "MADDIE!!!!" Cal yelled. I pulled off, "What the fuck do you want?" "Don't do that while we're filming." "Fine." I took my hand away from Ashton's face. "Maddie you wanna introduce the reason for this??" Cal asked. I nodded, "Today the boys are doing a cover of Girls by the 1975. I was setting up to the camera and Luke asked me to sing with them because he isn't skilled enough to sing the verses." "Well that's not exactly how it went..." Luke mumbled. "No that's exactly how it went, but anyways, this is Girls by The 1975." Luke and Michael started playing their guitars. Luke started the first part, "Bite your face, despite your nose. 17 and half years old." Then him and I harmonised, "We're worrin about, my brother finding out," I looked at Cal who was looking at me, "Where's the fun in doing what your told?" Luke played his count and I started, "I said, No! Oh, give it rest I could persuade you. I'm not your typical stoned 18 year-old. Give me a night I'll make you. I know you're looking for salvation in the secular age but I'm not your savior." All five of us sang together, "Wrestle to the ground. God help me now. They're just girls, breaking hearts. Eyes bright, uptight just girls. But she can't be what you need if she's 17, they're just girls, they're just girls." We finished and Luke got up and hit end record. I climbed into Ashton's lap and he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Maddie?" "What, Bear?" "I love you." "I love you, too, Bear."
