The next day I got up to go to school and got a ride from Cara.

"How did you get this car?" I asked afraid she might've stole it,she is the kind of person to do those type of things."Chill it's my brothers" she laughed. I looked at her cautiously before I got in.

"Since I picked you up a bit early wanna get a coffee?" She asked. I nodded and she drove to the Starbucks down the road.

"Cara is it weird that Tom hasn't text me since last night?" I asked checking my phone. "He usually texts you first thing in the morning right?" She asked.

I nodded again. "I guess it's a little weird" she shrugged. "I mean, he did go to a party last night and chances are he got hammered and has a killer hangover" I said pushing it aside. "So how's you and Mark?" I asked. She blushed. "Okay I guess" she replied. "He's really funny and I just love being around him" she said drumming her fingers on the steering wheel.

After we got our coffees she drove us to school.

Lunch came rather quickly. I sat at the same table I always do with my friends. Completely out of the conversation. I was worried about Tom. He still hasn't texted yet. I'm not trying to be 'the clingy girlfriend' but it's just so not like him. I hadn't heard from him all day.

When school was over I got Vic to drive me to work. There Cara and I acted like idiots the whole time. "Tom still hasn't text me" I frowned. "You know what? Mark hasn't texted me either" she said looking at her phone. They went to the party together. So they have a hangover together. Friendship goals at its finest.

"After work maybe we should check on them?" Cara said as a customer walked in. "Yea that's a good idea" I said. "Have you tried texting him?" She asked. I nodded.

After work Cara and I drove to Toms house. His car was in the driveway which meant he was home.

"I swear if they aren't home I'm gonna punch them" she said. I got the key Tom gave me to his house and unlocked the door.

It was dark inside and kind of creepy.
I turned the light on to see Mark Tom and Travis laid out on the floor asleep.
"What the hell? Cara its six! And they're asleep" I said. Tom was about to fall off the couch Mark was curled up on the floor drooling and Travis spread out next to him. Beer bottles were everywhere. Literally everywhere. Chips were crunched up on the floor.

"Wow" Cara said looking around. "Tom?" I said nudging his leg with my foot. He didn't wake up. Cara tried to wake Mark up but he wasn't getting up either.I pushed Toms leg and he fell off the couch. "What the fuck?" He groaned getting up.

Cara and I stood next to each other arms crossed glaring at the boys.

Tom looked at both of our expressions and woke up Mark. "Dude um...I think their mad" Tom whispered to him. "Yup" Mark replied. "Hey Babe" Mark said to Cara. She continued to glare at him. "Have you guys been asleep all day?" I asked. They nodded. "Did you get drunk last night?" Cara asked.

They nodded. "We're sorry but we were trashed last night" Tom said hugging me. He smelled heavily of alcohol. "I think we're still drunk" Tom laughed. "Tom that's not funny" I said looking up at him. He didn't say anything but he kissed me. His lips tasted like Jack Daniels.

"Dude we need showers" Mark said smelling his shirt. Tom nodded. "Somebody wake him up-I think he's dead" I said looking at Travis. Tom walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. "Trav buddy wake up" he said. "Um I'm gonna go home I've got some stuff to do" I said. "But you just got here" Tom said looking at me strangely. "That's okay I'll call you" I said smiling.

"Oh...okay" he said. He rubbed the back of his neck. "But, Tom? I need to talk to you really quick" I said wringing my hands. He looked scared but he followed me to his room. He shut the door and sat on the bed next to me. "What's wrong? Is it something I did?" He asked nervous. "Tom I wanted to talk to you about the drinking" I said quietly. He stared at the floor so I continued.
