Mom...?

A few weeks had passed. The two of them where stirring some trouble here and there. There were still wanted posters everywhere for (y/n). But lately there had been more and more. Some people had suspicions that she was with the joker. It was a cold day in December. The joker and (y/n) were sitting on the couch together, cuddling. There was a movie on and they both had some hot chocolate. The Joker's men were all at home, so it was just the two of them in the house. But there was a knock. The Joker wasn't expecting anyone at all.
"Joker, I'll open it. It could be a cop and I don't want them to hurt you because you're wanted." She said and smiled sweetly to him. The joker hesitated but then went into his room quietly and locked the door. (Y/N) walked up to the door and opened it. "Can I help-" she stopped and gasped. "MOM?!" She screamed.
"Yes. I did some research and I've gone to a few houses in this area. Now why the hell are you here?" She asked. "I Uhm... Met a guy... And he uh- he's been letting me live here with him. He's really sweet and treats me a lot better than you ever have." (Y/n) growled the last part.
"We treated you damn well (y/n), you just complain way too much." Her mom growled. "Now come home with me. Right now." Her mom finished.
"No! I'm happy here!" (Y/N) yelled.
"Honey, don't fool yourself! No guy would ever fall in love with you... Also, how come I saw you with the joker that one time?... THAT ISN'T WHO IT IS, IS IT?!" Her mom yelled.
"It-it's not..." (Y/n) whispered nervously.
*Joker POV*
Thank God these walls are so thin... I can hear everything they're saying. I think I should come out... And talk to her mom.. I'll clean off my makeup so it's less obvious.
I took about ten minutes to remove all of my makeup. I still have green hair but... Whatever.. I put a nice sweater on and some jeans. I walked out of the room. I could see a small blush on (Y/N)'s cheeks when she saw me. (It's the picture above minus the beard/mustache like what he looks like) "Hello, ma'am. Can I help you?" I asked in a nice voice, smiling. I was trying to not let my teeth be too obvious.
"And... Who are you..?" She asked, showing signs of aggression.
"I'm..." I had to think of a name for awhile. "I'm Jared..." I smiled. I went to shake her hand but she slapped it. This woman was pissing me off.
"Mom, leave. I don't want to be with you." (Y/n) growled. Her mom stood there, her arms crossed. (Y/N) stepped a bit closer to me. I decided to hold her hand. I don't know how to get rid of her mom. Then I let go of (y/n)'s hand. "I'll be back my dear." I said softly. I ran into the basement and pulled out my phone. I had to call Pedro. I dialed his number.
"Pedro... Okay so... (Y/n) and I were minding our own business... Then her mom showed up and she won't leave. Can you come here and knock her mom out and take her somewhere..? And hurry..?" I asked, whispering into the phone. Pedro said a single "yes" and hung up. I sighed a sigh of relief and ran back up the stairs. I came to (y/n) and put an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer to me. I didn't know what her mom was capable of. I could feel (y/n) shaking.
"Ma'am... (Y/N) is safe and happy here, and I love her... Please leave." I asked nicely.
"Hmmm.... No. How could you even love someone like her? All she does is cry and whine when you lay a single finger on her." Her mom spat.
"Maybe that's good... Maybe no one should be trying to hurt her.." I whispered. Then I saw Pedro over her mom's shoulder. He was holding a tranquilizer gun. I grinned and he shot (y/n)'s mom. She instantly passed out, and (y/n) smiled and hugged me. I hugged back and she sobbed into my sweater. Pedro watched us and grinned. "Hey, Joker... Nice look." He winked. "You really went from 'your daughter calls me daddy too' to 'hello sir, pleasure to meet you." I chuckled a bit at the remark. "Just take (y/n)'s mom somewhere please. Then you can go home." I said. I wanted to spend time with (y/n). Pedro left and closed the door behind him. I looked at (y/n). I noticed she was blushing while she looked at me. "Like what ya see?" I said with a smirk. "Y-yeah actually.." She said and her face was bright red. Then she hugged me. I lifted up her face to mine with a finger and smirked. I decided to kiss her. We started kissing and she kissed back. It lasted awhile. Then we both decided to lay on the couch.

I decided to lay down on the right side and she went on the end side(left like how it's kinda an L). We put both of our heads together (like at the top of the L. They put their heads in the same spot) and we fell asleep like that.
It was peaceful, and it was amazing.
I felt human for once.
