Chapter four: Apparently so

“Jealousy~”

Tae answered the boy's question rather happily while he played with the bubbles in the bath and because he was so distracted and fascinated by the soapy stuff, he never noticed that Jungkook had went underneath the water.

But, below enough so that only his eyes and top of his head was noticeable.

Seokjin unexpectedly walked passed, the door still wide open from when Tae had entered. He stopped to see V childishly playing with bubbles and never saw the maknae - yet

“Taehyung-ssi, what are you doing?” the visual questioned the younger boy.

Jungkook heard the familiar voice and immediately reacted by sitting up in the bath tub as quick as possible.

“Jungkook-ah?” Jin said in a questioning tone.

Tae began laughing extremely loudly. Jin knew the reason, but the maknae was beyond clueless as to why he was laughing.

“Whats the matter V hyung?” Jungkook asked innocently.

Taehyung pointed at the maknae ad accidentally fell into the water caused by his laughter.

“Bea-Beard-you've got a beard.” Tae said still laughing, not caring as to how wet his clothing was becoming.

“Come on you. You know you're not supposed to enter the bathroom when someone is inside,” Jin reminded Tae while dragging him out of the bathroom leaving a trail of water behind.

When Seokjin closed the door, Jungkook was finally alone, but it was bothering him that Taehyung and Jin might be hanging out with one another. He stayed in the bath for a while longer, trying to relax but he couldn't. The so-called jealousy wouldn't let him.

The maknae finished off as quick as possible since suspicion kept bothering.

He rushed out the bathroom even though he told himself to calm down and not to worry because they weren't together. He ran without taking note of his surroundings and accidentally bumped into the leader while made him stumble and fall.

“Aish!” Jungkook moaned.

“Oh. Sorry Jungkook-ah. I didn't see you,” Rapmonster apologized “Are you Okay? Why so hasty?”

“I'm looking for V hyung. Have you see him” Jungkook asked with a worried expression that was obvious.

The leader giggled “ You're worried, aren't you? Worried that Taehyung is with Seokjin hyung.”

“ You like V, don't you?” Namjoon questioned the maknae and smiled as he saw the maknae's face turn a bright red.

“ Apparently so,” The only two words that was said after the younger boy took off running in search for the adorable alien.

Jungkook remembered that it was a Sunday and that today Tae would normally be in front of a laptop watching the newly released episode of One Piece. This was how he figured out where to go.

The maknae hurried towards the hyung lines room and found both boys sitting on Jin's bed with a laptop that was placed upon a pillow with the two elder members laying on their stomachs.

“ Ah Kookie, you're done.” Taehyung smiled with his chin resting in his right hand. He the noticed that the maknae was out of breath.

“ What's the matter Jungkookie? Why are you breathing so heavily? Were you running?” Taehyung questioned the younger boy on his breathing and then suggested something that made Jungkook smile.

“The episode just finished. Why don't we go out for some Ice cream or pizza?”

“Really V-hyung!” Tae couldn't help but smile at the way Jungkook's face lit up when he offered the boy to treat him.

“Jin hyung, we'll leave now. Don't watch any anime while I'm gone, okay.” Taehyung said to the elder boy as Jungkook and himself left the room, leaving Jin to be with the maknae once again. One could tell that the elder was getting jealous.

“ So which flavour do you fell like having? ” Taehyung asked the other while they looked at all the different types and colours of ice cream.

“Um~ That one.” Jungkook tapped on the glass, pointing at the chocolatey, mint-crisped ice cream that also had small bits and pieces of chocolate in it.

“Aish, Kookie. Okay” Taehyung just left the maknae to decide himself and played the lady for 2 scoops of ice cream.

“Here you go love.” The lady said handing over the cold treat to Jungkook.

“I do say, you two look rather familiar.” she admitted and started scanning the boys' faces, shifting her gaze from the to the other.

“ You're the guys from my daughters posters,” she remembered “Am I allowed to-” she asked holding her phone up as a gesture to ask for a picture of the boy's. Obviously, they agreed to it.

Before the lady could take the picture, Taehyung hugged Jungkook and pouted. “Aw, so adorable. Come on boy, you pouted” Jungkook responded by pouting as well and making the ‘V’ sign with his hand.

“There you go. Look, so perfect.” the lady showed the two young idols the picture she had taken and Taehyung noticed something; the expression on the maknae's face. He was blushing. Not only that but his eyes were being directed towards Taehyung. The older boy pretended not notice it and just carried on.

“Its a really beautiful picture ma'am. You should consider becoming a photographer.” Tae commented which earned a warm smile of the flattered lady and they left the ice cream shop.

“Bye boys, have a nice day.”

“Taehyung, wait, don't you want ice cream too?” Jungkook asked the older boy who was walking in front of him.

“Nah, I'm fine.” Taehyung assured the maknae. “Lets go home shall we?”

“aren't we going to get pizza?” the maknae asked

Taehyung couldn't help but smile at Jungkook's straightforwardness. His cute box smile was not shown to the younger boy since Tae still faced in front of him.

“Sure, let's go. But we can't stay to long, you've got schooling tomorrow.” he ended off

Jungkook didn't care what time they would end up retuning home, as long as he was with Tae he didn't mind. He didn't mind if he wasn't going to be able to get up tomorrow for university, neither did he care if he was to be scolded by Jin and the manager. This was when he finally accepted that he liked Tae.
