Just Friends? (Vkook) Book 1

Chapter three: JEALOUSY

Morning came rather slow, according to the maknae that was still awake and hiding his face from the other two older maknaes that had woken up. Jimin and Taehyung walk pass the younger boys bed and great him softly.

The two left the room and close the door behind them.

Jungkook got up as fast as he could hear V calling out to Jin in an aegyo voice. Before he exited the room, he grabbed a scarf that was dangling over the beds head board.

"Jin hyung~ Please make us breakfast, I'm starving." Jungkook heard Tae behind the door. He quickly swung the scarf around the bottom half of his face to hide the redness of his cheeks that was still present.

He opened the door and spotted Taehyung hanging on the eldest member.

"Kookie, you're finally awake," Jin said with his handsome smile on his face. Knowing that Jin and Tae spent a lot of time together as well, the maknae furrowed his eyebrows and walked away.

"Kookie~" Taehyung called out to the younger boy and ran after him. When Tae caught up with the maknae, he suddenly grabbed him into a hug and rubbed his face on Jungkook's hair

"Whats-The-Mat-ter?" Tae asked

Jungkook tried to stay angry, but it was impossible to stay angry at the groups adorable alien named Taehyung.

He accidentally let out a giggle and by reflex covered his mouth to prevent the sound from escaping.

He realised if he doesn't talk to V now, it become a bit more difficult for him to ever approach the elder member in the future.

"Nothing is the matter hyung. I'm okay," Jungkook unknowingly lied, since he himself never knew if there was actually that was bothering him.

"Thank God!" Tae praised "I don't like it if you're sad. I actually thought I did something to hurt your feelings." V pouted and released his arms from Jungkook and was then suddenly grabbed by the maknae.

Jungkook turned his head and saw Tae's box smile being directed at him. The younger boy immediately looked away and buried his face deeper into the scarf.

V hugged the maknae once again, this time it was more tighter and more difficult for the maknae to escape.

"If wanted me to keep hugging you, you just had to say so. There's no need to panic like that." Tae giggled "So cute". Poor Jungkook couldn't handle it, he was literally sweating due to the heat rising to his face.

The two young boys made their way to the kitchen to see what Jin was cooking. Jungkook laughed all the way because of Taehyung's quirkiness of suddenly deciding to walk like a penguin while singing 'the-itsy-bitsy-spider' song. - V still hugging the maknae- just saying

"Oooh, that smells good!" V complimented Seokjin and left Jungkook to see what the elder member was cooking.

The maknae went back into his emotional state and exited the kitchen to sit at the table already filled with the other members.

Tae watched the elder boy cook and attempted to remember all the ingredients that were being tossed into the pan as he stared at the omelette. Taehyung still never noticed that Jungkook was no longer in the kitchen. He had only realised when he turned around to ask what he wants with his omelette.

"Jin hyung, sorry I'll have to leave you for now." Tae waved and smiled his significant box smile as he left the kitchen. Jin wanted Tae to stay longer, but he decided to let him go-For now

Tae entered the dinning area and spotted Jungkook seated in between the group leader and Yoongi.

"Jungkookie~" Tae called out to the younger member and the maknae unexpectedly got up and left the filled room and went to the practice room so he could laze around on the wooden floors.
