(Sidenote, I'm probably not going to have Peeta lose his leg because I just realised how weird it would be to have SIBLINGS both without a leg each.... Panem just has really good doctors? heh...heh? and I made you assume things last chapter when I mentioned age and relations.. didn't I? XD)
I lunged towards the Television set as Cato started running, towards where Peeta was. He was going to get my big brother involved with those stupid mutts! I shook my head as I quickly remembered our version of mutts in my games. I squeezed my eyes shut as I realised that Peeta was getting left behind by Katniss as he (trying to) was running from the mutts and towards the cornucopia. I wonder what is going through his head... I hope he hasn't been made into a mutt's toy... I take a peek at the screen to see that Peeta is now on top of the cornucopia.
Peeta's P.O.V.
I walk behind Katniss, the cold air hitting my face as we hear a loud rustling of the leaves next to us, Cato runs past us, clearly out of breath. We wait a little bit before we see them, Mutts. We run and Katniss leaves me behind. I wonder how Aliara felt at the end of her games, before... before she died... the thought nearly brings me to tears, especially thinking back to how much pain she looked like she was in, we never received her body, only a small box with her outfit in it.
Katniss comes back for me once she realises how far behind I am. I climb onto the cornucopia and almost faint from the loss of blood.
Aliara's P.O.V.
My brother is close to tears as he pants, clearly exaughsted whilst sitting on the cornucopia, was he thinking of me? I want him to not think of anything right now, I wish I could hug him and just... not be away from him like this. Finnick sits next to me and I unintentionally cuddle into him as I watch Peeta near die when Cato grabs him, choking him.
I bury my face into Finnick as Katniss pulls the string back, pointing it at Cato's head."It's okay, she shot him in the hand and he let Peeta go, It's okay." Finnick coos, wrapping his arms around me. I look up at Finnick, I must seem so childish and weak to him. He plants a small, caring kiss on my forehead."You know, you are like a little sister to me right now,something I always wanted..." Finnick mumbled and held me, if possible, closer.
I know, every other chaper(maybe...) but tapter was just to have Ali and Finnick's relationship grow .... BAI DON'T KILL ME PLZ
