Broken(Sequel To Disabled~A HG Fanfic)

A/N OMG I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING IN ACTUAL WEEKS, I've made this a 'double' chapter to make up for my incompetence (about 2,020 words....) >.<

I sighed shakily as my body was pushed into the hovercraft, I sat down and was immediately paralysed by something for the woman from years ago to put a tracker inside of my forearm. Once the hovercraft started moving we could move, I turned my head to Finnick as the pain finally caught up. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently. " Find me once the games start and then we'll find the other two." Mumbled, not moving my lips too much or making the plan too loud, He nodded before standing up. This was really happening, again.

I walked into the room with my stylist, Leo, he handed me a grey bodysuit with a mesh type of fabric. It would definitely do good in a wet environment, I can only imagine what we have in the arena now. I grabbed the clothing from him and changed behind a curtain, throwing my previous capital clothing away from me.

"Are you ready?" He asked, pushing me towards the tube that will enclose around me before sending me into the arena. I took a shaky breath before nodding and standing in the tube, A voice came on announcing that players must be in their places within ten seconds before the games start. "Be brave, Alia," Leo said as the tube completely enclosed me, I held the shell necklace Finnick had given me a while ago, It was my token.... My token of Finnick.

My stomach dropped slightly as I suddenly moved upwards, I started blinking to adjust my eyes to the sudden sunlight. The sea, I can smell the sea. I look around as I make sense of my surroundings, I'm about 40 metres from anything, the cornucopia sits on an island in the centre with thin spokes of rock reaching from the land around the water to the cornucopia. I'm in one of the spokes, the must be six sections as another tribute who's name I've forgotten is with me. "10, 9.'" I prepare to twist to my right and dive into the water to one of the strips of rock. "2, 1." The horn goes and I twist my body around and dive before swimming to the strip of land. I'm lighter, It must be the belt so that no contestants drown, or so that their bodies can be collected.

The stretch of water is much more than I'm used to, I see Finnick dive in before helping me to the strip of rock. " Do you know where they are?" I ask and he nods his head. "Katniss is just about on one of the strips, I'm not sure where Peeta is, I'll get katniss." He quickly explains before running to the centre and grabbing a trident. I follow him and circle the cornucopia, dodging a spear thrown at me. I find Peeta, He's on his plate, trying to figure a way off of it." Finnick!, He's over here!" I call out before being tackled by a tribute who I believe is called Brutus.

I struggle with his weight over me and he grins at me sadistically before gasping and going limp in pain with Finnick's trident in his back, Finnick runs up to me, Katniss after him. He grabs his trident and Brutus rolls off of me and into the water, we ignore him "He's in there." I point to Peeta."I'll get him, " Finnick says with a hand on Katniss's shoulder, she disagrees. "I can." Finnick drops all his weapons and smirks slightly. " Better not exert yourself, Not in your condition." He says before patting her abdomen, her face flickers with realisation. At least some of us can act, "Cover me." he says before diving in, I grab his trident and watch him, thankfully everyone who can swim has grouped up and are fighting over weapons. everybody else is stranded on their plates.

Finnick swims back with Peeta, one arm holding Peeta to himself, the other performing powerful strokes as he propels them back to us. Peeta seems to be co-operating without a second thought, Finnick might have shown him the bangle from Haymitch that I saw on his wrist before. Katniss helps haul Peeta up. "Hello, Again." He says before kissing her, I blink away any tears trying to escape. "We've got allies," he mentions. "Yes, Just as Haymitch intended." She replies, Good, I didn't reveal myself for nothing."Remind me, did we make deals with anyone else?" He asks, I want to hug him and tell him it's me badly. Finnick puts his hand on my shoulder and I nod, I can't no matter how hard I try.
