My eyes were always closed
I needed a triple dose
A dose of reality along with creativity
I see now it's just me
That's really all I need
Just to let myself be
Stop imagining what could be
This world is not a figment
Protect your spirit
We the youth are under attack
Too young to leave early
And I sit here and wonder
What is true
My words are the theory of lightning and thunder
Where there's truth there is wisdom
Check the facts
Your mind is prewired
Cut them and watch it malfunction
You'll begin to see
What they didn't want you to see
Hear what no one else hears
But don't fear
Embrace a new mindset
One that's not of society
