Chapter 2 - Samantha's New Confidence

Samantha's P.O.V

It was now lunch, and surprisingly I am not hungry I don't know why. I walk through the hall and walk inside the Cafeteria, walking through the table full of people, from different crowds. I pass the gothic crowd, techno nerd, normal crowd, there is even star wars nerds, and last but not least the 'it' crowd. Yes when I say the 'it' crowd, it contains Logan, James, Kenneth, Izabella, Anisa, Laura, and some of the jocks and cheerleaders. Seeing familiar faces. 

Oh I see you are still here. 

If you are wondering, I do not have any friends, I find that friends aren't really my thing. I walk to the vending maching, put in my 5 dollar bill, and press 'B5' it's for the coke. Seconds later there it is, my coke. Opening the can of coke, I made my way to the library since there is nothing to do in the Cafeteria. 

Believe me, I have no life.

Just when I was about to turn left, I bumped to a soft surface.

Please don't tell me, I bump into one of the animals.

I open my eyes, to see the most, wait for it, the most ugliest face, I've ever seen, it's Logan and in his back was his crowd.

Oh God, what do he want from me ? 

"Watch where you are going, nerd," he snapped, while passing by me. 

"Now, you are calling me a nerd, you are so confusing sometimes, you know that ?" I asked, I wanted to continue walking but someone was holding my wrist. I look back to see Kenneth. 

"Sam," For the first time he called my name in public. 

"Kenneth," 

Kenneth P.O.V

"Sam," To be honest with you guys, it was my first time calling her name in public since 5th grade. 

"Kenneth," The way she called my name, it was different than how other girl would call me. I don't know why I grab her by her wrist, I was just following my instinct. We were both in an awkward silence, that is until Logan called my name. 

Gah that asshole, always ruin my moment

"Well, nice seeing you, well uhh, I need to go," I stuttered, she just nod and walk my opposite way. And I have lost my chance with her. Let me tell you a story of me and Sam's past. 

*Flashback* 

We used to be a childhood friends, every 1 o'clock in the evening I would play with Sam in my backyard, we would play inside the tent and just play like a maniac with toy car. Sam will always use a tutu skirt, well that is until she is in 3rd grade. I remember the first time she lost her tooth, we were both still 4 years old. It was at my house, we were running around the couch in my living room. 

"Catch me, if you can, Ken," Sam cheerfully said and continue running around. 

"I will catch you, Sammy," We keep on running around, we went upstair then downstair, on the last 2 stair Sam fall, head first. She was quiet at first but when she saw the blood dripping and leaving a stain in my carpet, she started to cry. I walk to her and pet her head.

Don't judge me, I was still 4 for pete's sake.

"It's wokay, Sammy, wits wonly a tooth," she cried even harder, then after 7 minutes she starts to calm down. 

"wits not dwat that makes me cwy," she said between a sob.

"then what?" I said. 

"Its that youw cawpet is full of my blood," at first, I thought I was suppose to feel angry, but the feeling never come, instead I laugh. Just then my parents came, my mom flinched seeing there is blood, she thought one of us got hurt. One of us did, Sam starts crying again, I whispered to my mom why she is crying, guess whats her reaction is ? She also laughed. 

"Youw not angwy, Kenneth's mom?" yep that is how Sam used to call my mom 'Kenneth's mom' 

All my mom said was, "Its a good thing you didn't crack a bone," that makes Sam cried harder. 

Wow Mom way to make her calm.

*End Of Flashback*

I laughed at the thought, everyone around me was looking at me weirdly, I ignore the staire and starts walking with Logan. I stop talking to Sam in public is when I meet Logan and Anisa. I dated Anisa and ditched Sam. We did talk a few time, Sam would knock on her door, and greeted me through the paper. I would answer her, but that was it. But today, the way she is confidence standing up for herself, I salute her for that. 

Sam was still the old Sammy I know, she just have an extra that is her new confidence. I like her extra personalities. 

Samantha's P.O.V

Wow, isn't that weird, Ken called me in my public for the first time. Well, I guess that's a good thing right ? Or is it a bad thing? Argh Whatever. After school, I went to the Gym, to see if there is a sport club that I could join. 

"Levanon!" I heard someone called me, I turned myself to see the 'mighty' coach Rooker. 

"Yes, coach ?" 

"Would you like to join my soccer or cheerleading team ?" Oooh soccer, that is like one of my bestest sport that I can, and is the only one. 

"I would love to join the soccer team," I squeeled. 

"Good, then tryout is on Friday after school together with the other tryouts, don't be late," I nodded, and she left. 

Well this is exciting... I wonder if I could still do my soccer trick, oooh maybe I could also join cheerleading ? 

Yea right -mind

Hey, don't underestimate Samantha Levanon. 

I went home and straight away went to bed. 

This has been a pretty interesting first day of school ever !

Ooh what do you think will Sam be in ? And do you think Kenneth like her or maybe Logan ? Nyeeh maybe not one of them either hahah well we'll see...
