Chapter 8 - So much for being a best friend !

Samantha's P.O.V.

School yesterday, I got to admit, it was fun with Ken and Karma around, I did receive a 'what's up' nod from Logan though, which is kinda weird. Today there will be another soccer practice.. I sighed heavily thinking about all the hard work that we'll be doing and today they also have football practice that means I can ride with Ken again.

"Ms. Samantha, I do not tolerate you day dreaming in my class, detention at lunch." I blushed because of embarasment but was pissed at my History teacher. As history class rolled by, it was now lunch time and that means no lunch for me. I walked to the detention room and put the detention slip in the table in front of the snoring teacher.

I sat in the very corner, I watched as students walked in, but the last one was Logan. "Logan ?" I whispered to myself but sadly, Logan himself heard it.

"Yes Sam ?"

"Nothing, just surprised that you got detention." I told him. He took a seat beside my seat.

"And here I thought you are a goody two shoes, what did you do to get yourself in this paradise ?"

"Paradise ? What kind of paradise is this," I sort of snapped. "Sorry didn't mean to snap at you like that, apparently my history teacher do not tolerate me day dreaming." I explained to him.

"Sam I know I'm hot but day dreaming about me in class is just shocking for a girl like you."

"I wasn't day dreaming about you, you dim-wit." I snapped again. He put his hands up in defeat.

"Alright alright, c'mon lets ditch."

"bu- alright lets, I'm hungry anyways." I told him and the two of us just walked out of the room just like that.

I admit it, it was fun hanging around Logan, he would tease me but it was a fun tease, when I got to 'our' table Ken was giving me a look of pain. Uh oh... "Why did I just saw you with Logan entering the Cafeteria ?" Karma asked. I took a sit beside Ken.

"He just bailed me out from Detention room." I told her as I hugged Ken and no surprise there, Ken didn't hugged me back. I frowned and pulled away from the hug. I felt like crying. But then Ken dragged me out of the Cafeteria. Once we were out of the Cafeteria I quickly spoke. "I'm sorry Ken its just he told me he would help get out of the detention room and well he did helped me because my stomach started rambl--," I couldn't finished my explanation when Ken kissed me on my lip. At first, I just stared at him with eyes open wide, but then I can feel the need in his kiss, I kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we started to make out in the hallway.

We finally pulled apart for air, we are still humans ! "Wow." Was all I could say.

"I'm sorry if you don't like the kiss." I hussed him with my finger.

"I love the kiss." As I finished saying the phrase, Ken carried me by putting his hand on my waist, I wrapped my feet around his waist. Then he put me down and we went back to the Cafeteria with hands colliding with each other. As we arrived in 'our' table, Karma was sitting there with a scowl in her face. I immediately covered my mouth with my free hand. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry for leaving, I mean we are sorry for leaving you, I'll make it up to you." As I finished my words, Karma scowl turns to a big smile and I knew what she want.

"SHOPPING ON FRIDAY AFTER SCHOOL." I sighed heavily and glanced at Ken. He just shrugged and walked away.

"SO MUCH FOR BEING A BEST FRIEND, KEN !" I shouted. Ken glanced to the back and smirked. I just chuckled.

Soccer practice was tiring hell it killed me. Ken was the one who carried my bag. When I hopped in to Ken's car, I immediately fell asleep. "Sammy get up." I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Ken beside me shaking me.

"Hmm ?"

"Your majesty we have arrive in your palace." I looked to my left and indeed we have.

"Ha. Ha. Anyhow thanks for the ride, I really need to ask mom and dad for a car." I said as I took my bag from the back seat.

"I'm happy to bring you around," Ken said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and closed his door. "What ? No kiss ?" I smiled and walked back toward him who is on the other side of the car. I ran to him and smashed my lips to his lips. We kissed for like a minute or so and I pulled away.

"So does this means we are dating ?" I asked shyly.

"Yes," Was all Ken said before smashing his lips to mine.

It was now Friday, yesterday was usual, but Ken and I lip-lock a lot. So since today is Friday, I still owe Karma the Shopping Spree which I'm dreading it. I dragged myself out of bed and into the shower. Once I was dressed, I rushed downstair to find Ken and Ryan talking, Mom's cooking, and Dad is as always reading a newspaper. I sat beside Ken who is now staring at me together with Ryan whose eyes are wide open. "What ?" I harshly snapped at Ry.

"Nothing, its just surprising for you to wake up at 6." Ry said. I checked my phone and he was right, I'm already ready before 6.

"I guess old habit dies," I said with a smirk. Mom turned around and when she saw me, she got surprise written in her face expression.

"Oh, good morning darling." Mom finally spoke.

"Morning mom." Then Dad slid down his newspaper.

"Oh finally my daughter can get up without one of us shouting at her ear." Dad teased while refilling his coffee.

"Gee thanks Dad." I sarcasticly answered while Ken and Ry is cracking up. I elbowed Ken and he stopped laughing. We were having our family time and I admit it, it was fun to have Mom and Dad laughing again. But then school have to ruin it. I checked the time and it was 7 already. "Sheet, Its 7 already, c'mon Ken lets go !" I said as I dragged him out.

"Hey Ken, Sam can you bring Ry to his school first please ?" Mom asked. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Yeas sure, Mrs. Levannon." Ken simply answered. I gestured Ry to be quick. And we all hopped to Ken's car, with me in shot gun, Ken in the driver seat, and Ry in the back with our bags. The ride was fun. We would sing along to the radio with random songs from the 21st century. When we finally dropped Ry, Ken sped up and we arrived in our school in less than 15 minutes when its actually suppose to be a 30 minutes drive from Ry's school. Ry goes to an all boys school. I honestly don't know why.

When we stepped out of the car surprisingly we have been surrounded by students that we don't know. They we questioning with 'Are you guys together ?' 'How is it like?' and other random question. Ken and I just flashed them a hollywood smile and we both sprinted to the building.

"What was that all about ?" I asked Ken while walking toward my locker. Ken just shrugged and enterwined his hands with my mine.

I have the best boyfriend !
