Ginny (continued)
"WHAT?" Ginny shreiked, "your dad's escaped!"
Draco nodded sorrowfully, "I think he's coming after you and Hermione."
Ginny rested her pounding head in her hands, it had to be impossible...Lucius Malfoy had escaped again. How could Ron not know? Maybe he does, said a tiny voice in Ginny's brain. Maybe he lied to stop you from worrying. Ginny suddenly felt a hand resting on her shoulder, she looked up and found herself staring into Draco's eyes.
"It will be OK," Draco said, "I wont let my dad get you this time."
Ginny exhaled sharply, "thanks Draco, I'm worried about Hermione though...and Harry."
"Do you want to spend the night?" Asked Draco.
Despite everything, Ginny couldn't resist saying, "with your track record, that usually comes after liquor in the coffee."
Draco half laughed and half sighed, looking down at his feet, he grinned, showing off his sparkling white teeth. "Very funny," he chuckled, "I didn't mean it like that."
It was Ginny's turn to laugh, "I know you didn't, have you got a spare room?"
"I have about fifteen," Draco said with a hint of a smirk, but this smirk was sweet and shy. Not hugely agitating.
"You must get lonely," Ginny breathed, looking around the large living room, "without your parents..."
Draco merely shrugged, but his eyes darkened with pain. He got to his feet and thrust his hands into his pockets. "Lets get you set up for bed."
Ginny followed him through to a large room with a black velvet carbet and a silky red bedspread. "Wow," she gasped, she had never seen anything quite like it.
Draco looked her up and down then said finally, "I was going to lend you something of my mother's but looking at you now, I see you're smaller and thinner than her. You might be better off with something of mine."
"Thanks," Ginny said, grateful for everything he was doing.
"No problem," Draco replied, let me just..." he waved his wand and a pair of grey pyjamas flew into his hand. He gave them to Ginny, "here you go, I'll leave you to get changed and then come back and see how you're doing."
Ginny smiled at the blonde boy, "thank you so much."
Draco left, closing the door behind him.
Ginny started to change into the grey pyjamas that were a bit too large for her, the vest was v-neck and hung off her body. The collar fell a bit too far down, but not so much that she wouldn't be decent. She had to fold the waist band of the shorts over several times until they fit.
Draco
He wasn't blind, Ginny Weasley was a very attractive girl. With her waistlength flaming hair, pale skin and doe-brown eyes. Her shapely body that fit perfectly into her clothes and her long thin legs that carried her gracefully.
Draco shook his head trying to clear it, he was in love with Hermione and not Ginny. Yet, he couldn't tear his eyes away from her as he saw her through the crack in the door. He had been polite enough to look away while she changed, though. He knocked softly on the door and she permitted him entry. Draco walked into the room and couldn't help smiling softly at the sight of this brown eyed beauty, "how are you?" He asked softly.
"I'm OK," Ginny mumbled, "just a bit scared, you know."
Draco settked himself on the edge of the bed, "I understand completely, I'm scared too."
