Ginny

Run, don't stop. Ginny was sprinting through the forbidden forest, her hair getting caught on the low hanging mess of branches, the darkness seemed to suffocate her. The only thought that crossed her mind was to run, to run and never stop. She knew deep down she couldn't run forever, she would have to hide sometime sooner or later. Adrenaline pumped through her veins, paranoia seeping into terror every time she saw a shadow or heard the unexplained cracking of branched and rustling of leaves. Ginny's lungs burned as she gasped for air, the air was thick with fog. Everything was too quiet for the forbidden forest. Ginny stopped running as the forest turned into Hogwarts. The staircases were swinging wildly and Ginny didn't know which way to turn, every time she was about to take a staircase it would move or disappear. She knew she couldn't stay this way forever, Ginny took a deep breath and leapt. Then she was falling,

falling,

falling...

A translucent man with a flat nose sat in a chair in front of a roaring fire. Ginny found herself shackled to the floor.

"Thank you," the man spoke in a silky voice, "thank you for helping to resurrect me, I am most grateful. Lord Voldemort knows how to value those who help. But, I don't think I should take full credit for this, after all, I am now part of you."

And quite suddenly, his features changed; he had long red hair, rosy cheeks and brown eyes. His nose still flat. Then, he had a forked tongue and he dropped to the floor, morphing into a gigantic snake, the snake's mouth opened exposing its lethal fangs and-

"Aaaaaarrgh!" Ginny Weasley screamed herself and her husband awake.

"Ginny," Harry said urgently, "what is it?"

Ginny took great shuddering breaths in a inadequate attempt to calm herself, "n-nothing, just a dream, go back to sleep," and to her utmost horror, Ginny broke down into tears.

"Oh, love," Harry whispered and he pulled Ginny into his safe arms, giving Ginny the feeling that she was perfectly safe. "It's OK now, it's all right, you're all right," he murmured into Ginny's hair.

"I know," Ginny murmured back, she shifted her head to stare into Harry's beautiful eyes, her gaze couldn't help but shift towards his lips; perfectly soft, inviting. Harry seemed to guess what she was thinking, he pressed his lips against hers ever so gently, it was a sweet kiss. A kiss that showed Harry's feelings were that of love and not lust. A kiss that made Ginny feel happy, sad and elated all at the same time. They broke apart and lay down just staring at each other, encased in Harry's arms, Ginny fell into a slumber.

Tap tap tap!

Ginny swatted the irritable noise away.

Tap tap tap!

Deciding she couldn't get back to sleep with that tapping noise, Ginny got up to see what it was. It was coming from the window. Ginny drew her wand and held it aloft. She pulled back the curtain. Patch. Ginny sighed in relief at the sight of her little owl and she opened the window to let him fly in. Patch landed on Ginny's bed-side table, Ginny shut the window and let the curtain fall back, cutting of the stream of dazzling sunlight. She walked back over, took the letter off Patch and read the name on the front;

Ginny Weasley.

Ginny tore open the letter;

Ginny,

I hear you're back at Grimmauld Place and I hope you're feeling much better. Thank you for sticking by me that night even when I told you to leave me, I hope you understand why I stuck by you. My father is still on the run, I have no idea whatsoever as to how he was inside that book as well as on the run, it baffles me. I was hoping we could meet up one day to have a little chat.

Best wishes,

Draco.

Ginny smile slightly and placed the letter on her bedside table, she shut Patch in his cage and pushed some owl treats between the bars to keep him happy. She then went through to James's room, he was lying awake gurgling happily. Ginny picked him up and carried him downstairs, where Kreacher made a cup of tea and a bottle of milk. Ginny cradled James as she fed him, he would giggle ever so slightly, once she was done Ginny cooed quietly and softly to her son.

"Who's a good boy? Who is?"

"Mama!" James cried.

Ginny gasped in shock, James had said his first word! And it had been 'Mama'! "Oh, Jamesy, you said your first word, clever boy!"

"Who's a clever boy?"

Ginny whirled around to see Harry leaning against the doorframe looking quizzical, his hair rumpled and a smile playing on his gorgeous lips. His pale skin flushed in sleepiness, his green eyes alight with curiosity. He was wearing a loose T-shirt and jeans that hung loosely around his hips, he had a week off work for stress and trauma even though he insisted he was perfectly fine.

"James said his first word," Ginny smiled excitedly, "he said 'mama' when I was talking to him."

Harry rushed to her side, "that's great! Wow! Oh, clever boy, Jamesy!"

Ginny couldn't help but feel like she was the luckiest person in the world, "he is, isn't he?" She said, swelling with pride.

"Oh my God! Ron! Harry! Ginny!"

Footsteps thundered down the stairs and, by instinct, Ginny pulled out her wand. Hermione ran into the kitchen, tears in her eyes. Ron hastened to her side and wrapped his arm around the older girl's shoulder, he led Hermione back to the table and sat her down.

"What's wrong?" Asked Ginny, leaning forwards.

"Nothing's wrong," Hermione whispered, "everything is brilliant. Ron, we're going to have a baby!"

Ron leapt to his feet, "what? Merlin, that's brilliant, love! We're having a baby? Oh, wow! I love you so much!"

Hermione got to her feet and Ron pulled her into a hug, then a kiss, then Ginny decided it best to turn away... Harry cleared his throat loudly and dispassionately and said, "I'm really proud of you, but if you don't stop we might just see how this happened."

Despite a slight feeling of disgust, Ginny got a terrible case of the giggles, Harry's ability to vanish awkwardness with pragmatic humour was something she simply adored.

"That's both of us then," Ginny said, relieved her brother and Hermione had broken apart, Hermione gave her a questioning look. "Pregnant," Ginny explained, "we're both pregnant."

Ginny's head turned slowly like a wolf who had scented prey as a knock at the door sounded.

Another chapter done! So, did you like it? Hate it? Not sure? Let me know, also, any constructive criticism is welcome  - don't be mean, though. I really hope you enjoyed it!
