Issie's POV
"Hell to the no. Nope. No. Hah. Nope!" I said to my mom as I found out why my mom took so long to come home. "Well I can't really decided here honey, it's the courts job." She said with sadness in her eyes. Now that I think about it, for the past year, we both have bonded and now the court is going to separate us. "What if I speak?" I said randomly. "What?" "I said what if I speak. Yknow be part of the ones talking on the thing they have to stand (sorry I don't remember what it's called)?" "I suppose you can." She said. A spark of hope lit up inside me. I can actually stay here with my mom and friends instead of going to the asshole side of Jersey. "The court date is tomorrow so you're not going to school." I fist pumped the air but then I stopped. 'I need to tell Mikey and the rest.' I thought. I fell onto the couch and grabbed out my phone. I texted Allyssa, Denise, Joanna, Veronica, Mikey, Gerard, Frank, Ray, and Vic saying that I'm not going to be at school tomorrow.
Minutes later, I received questions of why I'm not going, am I okay, etc. 'I'm fine,I'm fine. I have to do something important.' I texted back to them. They all responded with an okay. I checked the time. It read 10:36. "Should I write what I have to saaay? Mom?" I said until I realized my mom left the room. "Nah." I said. I suppose I'll just wing it. I laid on the couch watching American Horror Story until I slept.

Well it was more like a nap, my mind was thinking too much. I checked the time again. 1:57. I groaned and walked up to my room. I put on my pajama pants and went back to sleep again with an empty mind.
