Issie's POV
I woke up to my mom shaking me. "Issie wake up." She said. My eyes adjusted to the sun and I sat up. "Okay you have about an hour to get ready before we go." She said and left. I stood up and went into my closet to pick out something "professional". I ended up with a suit. "Why do I even have this?" I said to myself out loud. I took it with me to the restroom and I quickly took a shower before I started on my hair.
After about half an hour later, I was ready to go. I went downstairs where I found my mom making breakfast for the two of us. "Better fill up, we probably might be at the court for a while!" She said. I nodded and began eating my prepared breakfast.
It turns out that the court we're going to is somewhere in northern New Jersey. We live in southern New Jersey so it would take us a while to get there. 'Well since I'm gonna be stuck here for a while, might as well send everyone a good morning text.' I thought to myself. I chose the group and sent them all a good morning and have a great day text. They were in class so they wouldn't see the text until passing period.

For th next hour and a half, I sat in my seat, watching the world run past me. After about another 30 minutes, the car stopped in front of a huge building. 'I guess this is the court.' I thought to myself. My mom got out of the car, and I did the same. We walked to the building and entered this building. My mom walked up to the counter as I went to go take a sat in the waiting area. I checked my phone for any new messages. I got messages from everyone saying good morning and to have a great day. Mikey had sent me this

'Good morning my love, I hope you're safe and okay right now. I have a great day, love you babe xxM.'

I immediately melted inside. He is such the cutest little thing in the world and ugh. My mother's talking snapped me out of my little world. "Issie!" "Yeah?" "The hearing (again i dont know these things so) is about to start, let's go." She said walking away. I stood up and followed my mother to a room (again i have no idea). Just as we opened the door, he was there.
