Abbie's POV

6:00 A.M

"Wake up y'all!" The officer of this hell said. It's been about a year since I have stayed here and I hate it so much. "Okay everyone go to the cafeteria and get yourself some breakfast!" The officer said. I was about to go in until I was stopped by the same officer. "Except for you Abigail. Boss wants a word with ya." "But I haven't done anything wrong?" I questioned. I followed Officer Judy to the ward's office. "Ah Abigail! Have a seat." The ward said. "How are you Abigail?" "Grumpy, yknow not a morning person." "Understandable. But maybe this news will make your morning better. This past year, we've observed everyone of you and we had seen improvements and not so much. You have shown good improvements and I had decided to let you go back home." The ward said. I was completely shocked that I had to asked him to repeat what he said. "So when do I go back?" I asked. "In exactly 2 hours so get your things Abigail, you're going home!" He said with a smile. I smiled at him and left the office. I'm finally going home! I quickly packed my things and went to go eat breakfast.

After breakfast, I went to go wait in my cell so the patrol officers can pick me up and drop me off at my mom's.

I wonder what the house would be like by now.

I thought. Even more questions filled my mind as I thought more into it. "Let's go Scheel." Gary the patrol officer said. I stood up with my bag and followed him to the back of the juvenile. I sat in the back and waited till I was home.

~2 Hours Later~

We made it back to my home. It still looked the same on the outside. But the inside would probably be different. I went up the steps with Gary following behind me. I still had a spare key from last year. I opened the door open and everything was quiet. I entered my house and found my sister and mom in the kitchen. "Abbie!" My mom said as she came towards me and hugged me. I hugged her back. "Abigail Scheel had been released from the juvenile. She has shown much improvement after a couple of weeks into the juvenile." Gary said. "Thank you sir." "You're welcome." Gary said and left. "So how's it been here?" I started off. The rest of the afternoon we all have been catching up on our lives.

It's good to be home again.
