Issie's POV
It's 12 in the afternoon on a Monday. My mom dropped me off in front of the mall. We all know that I would just go right in and basically start wasting my money. But today it's not those days anymore. My mom told me that if I'm not gonna go to college, I can at least work and save up for a small apartment for myself. I thought about it and I agreed with her. So here I am now. I had went online and gotten job application from multiple stores and filled them out and shit.
I then went to each store and gave them the application.
Weird thing is that the Hot Topic manager, Devon, just looked through my application and literally gave me the job.
"You start Monday!" Devon said.
"Sweet!" I said as I shook his hand. We both walked out of the little office. I said good bye to Devon and walked out of the store.
My first job is HotTopic. Which is great because all workers can get a 10% off discount.
I called my mom to pick me up from the mall. Oh she's going to love this good news.

"Hey!"she said as I got into the car. "Hey! I got great news!" "Sweet! What is it?" "I got a job at HotTopic!" "That's great news Issie!" My mom said as she turned to me for a split second and focused on the road. "Yeah and I start on Monday." I said with a smile. "Sweet!" She said as she pulled up to the drive way. "Which means I need to take a car to get there so I don't bother you." "Take the sports car." My jaw dropped wide open. "Seriously!?" I said not believing what I'm hearing. "Totally!" She said. "Thank you!" I said as I hugged her.
This day turned out better then I expected..
